Ron Cadron came out for estimate and was very helpful answering all our questions.the installer was polite and professional. The job took about 5 1/2 hrs. We are very pleased with our doors.

I got a basic household garage door opener, and I believe installation was free (this was written 4+ months after the fact). The installer showed up right on time, went right to work, and was pleasant to boot. Good experience from beginning to end.

We called at 10:30 AM after trying what the manual suggested. The
appointment was for 4 PM. Later, they called and they said it would be
between 3-5. They arrived not long after 3 and were done by 4. Eric not
only changed the broken master link, he adjust the limits and checked
both garage doors. In addition, he gave my husband instructions on how
to grease our 18 year old door for maximum efficiency.
We used them years ago when the other garage door had problems. They
came quickly and they did a great job then. We'll definitely use them again.

They were pretty responsive. They of course tried to sell me a whole new door and a new closer but I just had them fix the old one. They were quite willing to do that once I made the decision not to buy a new one. I think they were fine. I've only been using the door for half a day but it seems like they did a good job. They answered all of my communications so I am pretty pleased right now. I had fixed this once before myself so I knew what to look for and what to ask. I would warn that if I hadn't known that I might have ended up spending $1500.00 instead of $300.

"Customer was billed $171.60 for labor and lubricant to tune up the door and to change out the opener's gear assembly (which the customer provided). The door is an older door and a gear assembly for an automatic opener typically requires replacement 10-15 years after initial install (sometimes sooner if its attached on an older door with quirks). Customer stated that he had change the gear assembly out before himself once already which indicates that the opener is around 20 years old give or take a few years. PDQ Door does not attempt to quote a new door and/or automatic opener to a customer unless the existing items show significant age and wear and should be replaced soon. Older doors can start to nickel and dime a customer as parts age and break which can become pricey. For these reasons we may offer to quote item replacement in addition to a repair. We are pleased that the last repairs are holding up well for the customer. Hopefully they will prolong the life of the items for a while longer. We appreciate the business and hope we are able to help them out if needed again in the future."

Ron is a very nice man, great to work with and the price was great. He showed up on time to do the estimate and the garage door was installed on the day and time as promised. I was pleased to see that they do replacement windows. I think that I will have them replace the windows in my house.

The crew of 3 showed up as scheduled, they were polite, and efficient. The work included removing existing door with lead paint. They did an extensive area prep and clean up for the lead paint mitigation. When they finished they delivered all of the manuals and inspecting the work showed no issues. They cleaned up, leaving the garage cleaner than when they started.
