Nate of Frohmiller's was a pleasure to work with. The two carpenters he sent to work on the house  were very hard working, showed up on time, clearly knew what they were doing, worked well as a team, were easy to talk with, had helpful suggestions, coped with the inevitable challenges that always come up with any project, language was appropriate, and did not talk on their cell phones... ever. We would not hesitate in having Frohmiller do work for us in the future.

If you want zero headaches and quality work from a reliable, trustworthy contractor, hire Chuck Frohmiller. He is experienced, professional, reliable, reasonably priced, and does excellent work. We bought a circa 1890 home with a leaky basement, no insulation, and badly in need of many upgrades and repairs. We talked to several contractors, none of whom made us comfortable, but once we met Chuck, we knew we were in good hands. He's been in business for a long time, knows what he's doing and how to treat a customer. Today we have a fully insulated home with all new windows, a dry basement (even after recent downpours), a remodeled kitchen (with granite countertops and ceramic tile floor) and a newly created living area that was once a closed-off, dark dining room. Frohmiller Construction also built us a master bedroom suite and remodeled a large portion of the second floor. Our home's exterior was repainted in colors exactly matched to a local home I had admired. Chuck believes in 100 percent customer satisfaction. When we had a clogged bathroom sink during the process, he would not rest until it was fixed, even coming over on Saturday morning without being asked. Chuck listens and respects what the customer wants, but he also takes care of every little thing, which is why we had a 100 percent stress-free home renovation. I didn't think that was possible. You can't go wrong with Frohmiller Construction.

.The work was done efficiently and in a very professional manner. We had used them in the past for another significant project and always find them to be responsive and their work to be of high quality. We would not hesitate to use them on any appropriate project in the future.

The construction went very well, the owner came out during and after the work was finished. Installers were very friendly, kept us in the loop and cleaned up before they left each day.

They fixed the pipe and shower fixture. It took a week to get them in to do the repair and then they did not finish the cleanup/painting, so I did that myself instead of waiting for them to get back to me. The pipe fix and the fixture repair was nicely done.

Our basement flooded, and our insurance company told us to work with a contractor to get an estimate to replace everything exactly as-is. Since the basement was 1970s style, we were hoping to upgrade a little bit (carpeting instead of linoleum, drywall instead of paneling, insulation in the rim joists). Mike at Frohmiller worked with our insurance company and with us to get everything done that we needed and wanted, while fitting it all within the insurance company's budget. I appreciated that he patiently followed up with us when we lagged in making decisions, and he fit us into their schedule quickly. The carpenters and carpet installer were pleasant and kept things neat at the end of every day. They even hung up a plastic door so that dust wouldn't migrate upstairs. When done, everything got cleaned up (including some extra stuff from when we demoed the water damage ourselves). Our basement was finished in only a week or two.

The price was reasonable and the quality was excellent. I am happy with their services and I would hire them again.

We had a short window to complete this job and it was done in 5 weeks. There was virtually no down time, the cabinets were ordered well in advance so were ready when we were.

I have hired this contractor since this time for smaller jobs- they are fast and reliable. I had a tree go through my roof in a storm, called them that morning and a crew was here immediately, patched it as soon as the tree was removed and then subsequntly handled the re-roofing. Again, a great job.

They came promptly and made their proposal. Their price was less than somebody else I had checked with. They did the work on time. They were very professional, good, and clean. The bill was exactly what they had estimated. They probably should have charged me an extra two or three hundred dollars, but they stuck with their estimate. The quality and timing was very good.
