About us

BVC was established in 1980 when Dr. J.A. Benson took over the former Elliott Animal Hospital. In 2002 he built the state of the art hospital known as Broadway Veterinary Hospital. Since that time we have grown from one veterinarian, one technician and one receptionist to three veterinarians and more than 20 part time and full time staff.

I arrived early and they were able to take me in right away.  Staff was friendly and sweet with my cat.  Exam and vaccinations were performed efficiently, but I didn't feel rushed and they offered me the opportunity for questions.  I will be moving the care of all my pets to here.

I have had an overall positive experience with Dr. Norman at BVC. He has been seeing my dog for the past 2 years and we recently found out my dog had a more extensive medical condition and Dr. Norman has been super helpful in the treatment process. He always treats my dog with care and takes as much time as I need to ask questions, discuss options, and get his opinion. I really feel like my dog is getting the best care possible and that he's in good hands. I can't speak to the other vets in the practice, as I haven't seen them. I feel like the prices are reasonable for the services performed.

I've been using Broadway Veterinary Clinic for all my pets for the last 10 years. They are clean, there are a lot of staff on, I don't have to wait outside in the waiting room, the usually bring you right over to a room, they are very friendly, and my pets have always liked Broadway Veterinary Clinic.
