Fielding's Oil Co

We have had nothing but good experiences with Fielding's Oil.  Contrary to another review, I think that there is only 1 employee who manages the orders and the phone.  She has always been polite, professioal and prompt to help me.  When we order #2 oil from them, they always...and I mean always deliver on time.  They even came Christmas eve last year when we weren't even out.  I thought that was phenominal!  The delivery guy is always friendly and leaves the bill where we can find it.  Their prices are the best in the area and transactions are always easy from start to finish.
I don't normally write a review but after reading the previous review on here, I felt compelled.
It's not fair to give a company a "F" rating without giving both sides of the sotry and frankly, I don't think that we got both sides.
Rating a company poorly based on customerservice is also unfair.  I believe that customer service is important, but it is part of a bigger picture.
In my opinion, Fielding's is a reputable, professional and courteous company. (knowck on wood)  I haven't ever had a single complaint, besides the fact that I live in Maine and it's cold and expensive to heat.  Fielding's helps me to worry less.

oWe have been long time customers with Fielding's Oil and have found
recently that their customer service is horrendous.  Not only were the
folks in the office in Augusta extremely unprofessional they were also
fraudulent with their service.  We were shocked that a Maine company
would behave so inappropriately.  It is very important to note that
Fielding's has recently acquired Discount Energy, Our Oil Co. and
Downeast energy services.  They are currently putting a stronghold on
the other smaller operations by undercutting prices while offering half
rate service.  They do not inform potential customers when you call that
they are ALL THE SAME company offering the same poor service.  We found
this out when we tried to discontinue their services and hire another
company.  They answered the phone and took our credit card information
knowing full well we had just told them we wouldn't do business with
Fielding's Oil.  They pretended to be another company entirely and the
next day showed up with a Fielding's truck to deliver oil.  I would
encourage all readers to avoid this company until they get honest, hire
better customer service representatives and stop trying to swindle
