Good experience. They came on time. Were polite. Worked quickly. Treated our items with respect. Charged less than the estimate.

Guardian came to our home to provide an estimate, with a guarantee that the cost would not exceed 10% more than the estimate. The estimate was VERY conservative, though, as our move only took 3 hours, when they had estimated 8 hours. [If the move takes less time than the estimate, they will only charge for the hours worked.] They arrived promptly at the arranged time. All three workers were very professional, and efficient. We had some trouble fitting in some of our furniture through the doors in the new house, but they were good at finding a solution to get everything in without damage to walls and door frames. None of our furniture, or boxes, were damaged in the moving or transport. [Admittedly, we have mostly well-worn and non-fragile pieces, so can't speak for their handling of 'fine furniture', though I feel I would have been satisfied even if we had nicer pieces. We were very satisfied with their service, and would highly recommend them for local moves.

Daniel came to our home, gave us a written estimate for moving our entire stuff. It stated that the upper limit would be at most 10% more than the estimate and no fuel surcharge. They do charge for the commute time. They were supposed to come at 11:30 in the morning, but were about 30-45 minutes late. Dan called to let us know that they would be late. John left a message at my other number. There were 3 guys in the team - very competent. We had everything packed and color-coded. They took about 90-100 minutes to load the stuff. We had about 65 packed boxes, and furniture (living room set, entertainment center, dining set, bedroom set, computer tables, book shelves, etc.). We also lived up 3 flights of turned staircases. They were careful with all the boxes. In the new home, they put all the boxes in the specific rooms. We had to rearrange some of the furniture as they did not fit/look alright and they did that.
