Description of Work: Absolute perfection! So far, we've had them remake two bathrooms and our kitche/dining room. John, the son, absolutely will not cut corners in any way. Janos himself does the plumbing, electric and planning. I would swear by any work they do! Just can't say enough! Now, they do price by the labor. You provide materials, which may seem unusual, but they did accompany me to the stores and transport everything. For working materials, I chose to supply them with a gift card and they provided receipts each time they needed to use it. The hardest working, professional and perfectionists in the business in my opinion.

 + -1 moreI didn?t hire them to get the work done. The owner was very responsive and came out the same day I called him. He seemed very knowledgeable about what I needed to get done. He said he would followup with a written bid but he never did. I generally liked them but I wasn?t in a position at that time to hire them. I would consider using their services in the future.
Description of Work: I received an estimate from Janos and Son Construction about a month and a half ago for bathroom remodeling.

 + 2 morewe were very dissapointed with his behavior and attempt to not tell us what were the additional costs up front
Description of Work: the contractor would not give us a complete estimate, he told us it would be 2500.00 with additional cost for materials, when i asked him how much he would charge us for the additional materials, he sent me an angry email telling me he didn't have to tell me his pricing and since we disn't automatically agree to his first quote of 2500.00 that he now is too busy for the remainder of the year to work with us. Which is fine because no one is going to work at my house with hidden or unknown costs involved, we met him on a thursday, he gave us a total amount of the cost of the job on friday but wouldn't break it out, on Saturday he gave us the cost per job, but added that there would be additional cost for materials, on Sunday after i asked the cost of the materials, he responded by telling us he was too busy while at my house, he said his service was excellent over 20 times and we shouldn't worry about his service he also belittled us on the design of our kitchen, he didn't like our tile, despite the fact that had nothing to do with the items in need of repair

 + 3 moreWe highly recommend Janos Csorba and his son John for remodeling work. They turned our sun room - a 1957 afterthought - into a beautiful refuge for day and evening, connecting our living room to our patio in a harmonious whole. The work involved installing new windows, new French doors, reconfiguring the brickwork, repainting the whole room and laying tiles. In every one of the diverse tasks, they showed painstaking attention to detail and we could not be more pleased with the result. They were also very pleasant to work with. Description of Work: Remodeled our sunroom completely. Cut and relocated brick masonry to move the door from the side to the center, aligned with the axis of our dining room and patio. Replaced 50-year old windows with energy-efficient windows of various sizes. Installed two pairs of French doors. Raised the existing floor to be even with the dining room, then laid Italian porcelain tile precisely. Fit all molding around the windows and doors, inside and out. Repainted all walls and surfaces.
