Howard and his team did an excellent job!

We have used Howard Wheat in past years and have recommended him to friends.  His work is excellent and his prices are fair.

It went great. They are just timely. We already sold the house in order to get the sale through. One of the contingency is that we need to get the windows replaced and as if you can imagine, like in December before Christmas, it’s kind of hard to get somebody to come in a last minute to put windows in but they jumped on the opportunity and helped us in a timely manner. The price is definitely fair. The job was like a new install and it was perfect. My wife and I were unable to be there but we were able to give them the lockbox code and they let themselves in and do the replacement and gave us pictures of it and the new owners were very impressed.

This is the second time we have used Energy Crafters. The first time he replaced our kitchen windows and installed a new kitchen door. This job included have to create walls and install siding. We were so pleased with the work he initially did we had him replace our front windows. Once again the job was done in a timely manner and with outstanding quality. Our windows look fantastic.
Howard and his sons are professional, courteous, dependable and trustworthy. They were here when they said they would be and they worked hard the entire time. He works with you and has great suggestions to help a couple compromise.
We are so pleased with the work he has done we are getting ready to have Energy Crafters install gutters on our house. When the budget permits we will most certainly have them replace some of our other windows.

The friendliest man, knowledgeable but not pushy. His two sons work with him. Very accommodating, he wants to know you are happy with the end result.

When the damage from the earthquake occurred, I contacted a handyman who came and gave me an estimate of $700, took a $100 deposit and never returned.  (I later learned he was in jail for nonpayment of child support)

After this fiasco, I sought recommendations from a friend that I knew had recently replaced a lot of windows.  She recommended Howard Wheat, owner of Energy Crafters.
Howard showed up on time and gave me an estimate of $500.  He had good suggestions for the repair of the base of the window and I was  impressed with his knowledge and expertise.  I thought the estimate was highly competitive and made arrangements for the job to be completed.  
Howard was professional and considerate both at the time of the initial inspection of the job as well as during the performance of the repair.  He and his son replaced the window and repaired the base so that is it now better than new.  He did a wonderful job and cleaned up after the work was done.
I  have since contracted him to replace two large windows in the front of our house.  I found his estimate to be highly competitive and are delighted that he will complete another job for me. 
Howard's company is small.  Most of his work is from referrals as many people know and trust him in the area.  He also is recommended by Liberty Contractors, a top of the line contractor in the area.

While he has an email account, he is very "old school" and says he does not check his email regularly.  This is just how Howard is.  He is an older gentleman who works with his sons.  He is licensed and highly respected.
