It was good that they were willing to work. It was good that they allowed us to do a payment plan. It was bad that it cost too much money and it took too long. Some of the items didn't get corrected as I wanted to. There's a staining and they had to come back at least 2 or 3 times. I was supposed to get certain flower like daisy and they ended up giving us lazy Suzan. That is not what I wanted. That's negative stuff for me. I only went with them because the owner came out to do an estimate and I like how he did it. He did a little schematic on what it would look like and I wanted to get some fancy stuff done. I liked what he did and instead of me shopping around I just went to him. They made me listen and they did what they wanted to do. I would shop around for pricing prior to going with them.

From the start, Kevin stood out among the other contractors we talked with. He gave us an estimate quickly, had good ideas, showed us how he would do a better level of work than some of our neighbors had, worked with us to refine the plans. Of the two other contractors we got bids from (or tried to), one returned my call a week later, had no ideas, and came in with a higher bid by about $1,000. The other one took so many weeks to work up a figure for us that we told him to forget it. Kevin had been responsive, even in the midst of moving his own home and business. The project went over budget due to choosing different pavers and a couple of other items. Kevin met us halfway by trimming some of his costs. The workers started on time, were very pleasant and hardworking. Kevin checked in almost every day, answered questions, addressed items as needed. Since the plants were installed in late August, it was not an ideal time, but he gave such good advice on watering them that we didn't lose a single one, not even the birch tree that looked questionable for awhile. We were very pleased with the end result--and still are, two years later.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS VERY GOOD. THE WORKERS WORKED IN A TIMELY MANNER and CLEANED UP THEIR MESS. WHENEVER I HAD QUESTIONS I HAD A QUICK RESPONSE and THEY FOLLOWED THROUGH WITH EVERYTHING THAT WAS ON THE WRITTEN CONTRACT.
