I was recommeded JSB Woodworking Inc from another A rated company, LSI Construction who is performing a bathroom renovation at my residence that requires custom vanity and closet in a particular style and dimension. Prior to contacting Jason Boyer of JSB Woodworking Inc., I was advised that the usual lead time for a custom vanity and linen closet would be 12 weeks.
I contacted Jason and asked him if he could complete the project within a short timeframe and with the style and wood I wanted. It was pleasant talking to Jason and I reviewed some of his array of woodworking projects he has completed online at jsbwoodworkinginc.com prior to meeting Jason at his very organized and clean woodworking shop in Woodsboro, MD. Upon arrival, Jason had sample walnut wood in a variety of stain colors. We formulated the style and dimensions of the project and Jason provided alternatives to the project to reduce the cost. There was no sales pressure, it was like talking to a good neighbor who listens to what you need. I was impressed with his work and knowledge of construction of wood beyond just cabinets. I ended up asking Jason to fabricate more pieces than I had anticipated because Jason is a straight shooter, great at his tradecraft, and easy to work with. A plus all around.
