Tom Pearre

He came out and serviced it. He told me he could rebuild the amp for an additional $200, and it would sound much better. He told me he would take the amp with him and call me in a couple weeks when he was ready to return and reinstall it. Two months later, when I hadn't heard from him, I gave him a call. He then arranged to bring it back. He came back, reinstalled the amp, and replaced the needle. I asked him if there was anything else that needed to be repaired, but he said no, everything worked fine. He played a record and everything seemed fine. I didn't turn it back on till two weeks later. My parents were visiting and I wanted to play a record for them. Midway through the song, I pressed the cancel button, that's supposed to stop playing the current record and reset the machine. Instead it just froze. I couldn't do anything to make it work. I was really upset. Tom Pearre said he checked everything, all the buttons, and everything worked fine. Clearly it didn't. I called him back, and couldn't get him to return my call. I had left a message with the problem. Finally I was able to get him on the phone, weeks later. He told me I'd have to pay him again for another service call to fix this. I couldn't believe it! What a crook! I had already paid him to service my jukebox. At least it worked before he put his hands on it. He really was rather nasty about this. Now I wouldn't even trust him to come over my house. So I'm stuck, out $475, with a broken jukebox.
