Myers Mini Barn

They were great.  They were the best around.  They were punctual.  They were reliable.  They came and made sure was level and made sure that the color was what I had ordered.  I am very happy with their service.  I have recommended them to others.  I checked seven different places for price before I went with Myers and they were the best price.  The quality is excellent and I can’t complain.  They were wonderful.  They called and said that they will be here tomorrow at eight and they were before eight.  They were very punctual.  They were extremely professional.

We had some drainage problems in our back yard that caused our old shed to rot out, so we decided to have a new shed put in. We first booked a landscaper to fix the drainage issue, and to take out the old shed, and then ordered a shed from Myers. When ordering, we asked Gary Myers if they were flexible on their delivery times since the landscaper had not scheduled us for an exact date on the old shed removal, and he assured us it wouldn't be a problem.
We got a call from Gary a few weeks later saying that our shed would be delivered on August 13. Unfortunately, that was a few days before the landscapers were scheduled to finish, so we called Gary back to see if we could reschedule for the following week. He said that it wasn't possible and that if we didn't take delivery on the 13th, the earliest they could deliver would be in another month.
Luckily, the landscaper was very accommodating, and was able to move us up a couple of days so we were able to take delivery on the 13th. When we got the shed there were some problems though:
First, a small section of the shed was damaged. According to one of the guys setting it up, they messed it up while delivering another shed. Their solution was to put that section on the back, straighten it out a little, and paint it.
Also, when they guys were leaving, they ran over our grass and flower bed. Instead of coming in to let us know or trying to do something about it, they just left. I spoke with Gary and he sent them back to fix it. They "fixed it" by kicking the soil back into the flower bed. They did not replace the flowers that were destroyed.
In general, the shed itself seems nice and the price was good, which is why it's so disappointing how the rest of the experience with Myers Mini Barns went.

When I went to look/purchase anew shed, the people were very helpful and responsive.
They gave me options and advised me as to what was available and suitable to my needs.
When the gentlemen came this morning they were extremely professional, punctual and helpful.
They cleaned up all the debris from the original building and made sure the new structure was level and suitably placed,
I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for an outdoor building,

Wonderful family run business. We had every question answered prior to placing the order for a shed. It was a pleasure dealing with an extremely knowledgeable and helpful business. Would highly recommend!!

Overall experience was great. Everyone from Gary's mom and dad to the crew that delivered and set up the shed were very polite and responsive to my questions. I did not rate pricing because I did not shop around for price. The shed itself is well made and was constructed to my specifications. If you are looking for a shed, gazebo or other prefab outbuilding I would recommend you visit Myers Mini Barns in Lisbon, MD.

Chicken coop -- for our 10 chickens looks amazing, well done and chickens love itIt was delivered and installed perfectly. The price for a chicken coop was a bit too high in our opinion... however it's done beautifully, so we are happy we go it!

I found many companies that offered more shed-like products, where I was looking for a pre-built garage. The man at Myers is very personable and has had the business for years. From day 1, they took whatever time I needed to decide on what I wanted. I found one I wanted but the door was on the other side of where I wanted it. They offered to order me a garage to the specifications I desired. They said they could have it delivered within (3) weeks. I called 2 days after placing my order thinking it was too late to change my mind on the color of the shingles and to my surprise, he was very codial and offered to call the factory to make the change. In 2 and a half weeks, they called to tell me it was in and ready. I couldn't believe how well it went. They laser leveled the digging for the garage and really took their time. I was concerned about the grass being damaged over time, driving back and forth over it, so I asked him if he could also cut me a driveway. Before he put in the 8foot x 100foot driveway, he cut 4 inches down to remove all grass, so nothing would grow through the stone. I had their cell phone number and was able to call anytime. Close to the time they were set to come out, I did have to postpone because of other commitments and was able to change his schedule. He cut the edges very neatly and I couldn't have asked for a better job. He had a 7 1/2ft x 5ft wide wall in his office plastered with feedback from happy customers. It's amazing what they can do. At one poiny they said "we are not leaving until you're happy". When I couldn't take the garage they had with the opposite side door, I thought the price would increase but for my requested garage, he said he would not increase the price even though it was a special order. You could tell he is not in business to only make money but really to satisfy his customers. I felt that I could really trust him.

Myer's, particularly Brenda Myers, was helpful and professional. They worked with us to special order windows that met with our HOA restrictions. The shed was build very quickly after placing the order less than 2 weeks. I think the sheds are built in PA and the shed quality is very high overall. Note that like almost all shed companies, they do not deal with permitting; an excavation contractor they recommended did that for us as part of a separate job to build a platform on cement piers for the shed.

We are quite satisfied with the quality and appearance of the shed. There was some flexibility in its design, more than with other companies we investigated. Mr. Myers usually returned phone calls in a timely fashion. We thought the price a little high but we are happy with the results.

The salesman was very good at listening to our needs. He built this shed, and it matches the color of the siding of our house. It has two doors and windows for ventilation. It was delivered promptly.

THEY HAVE A WONDERFUL, NEW BUSINESS THAT WILL BENEFIT THE LOCAL MUSICIANS IN THE ELDERSBURG AREA. WE HAVE BEEN SATISFIED WITH THE LESSONS AND INSTRUCTORS. WE WERE ALSO VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE PROVIDED BY OWNER PAT MURRAY IN LEASING THE SAXOPHONE FOR OUR SON.
