I was very pleased with the service that we received from KM Lawn and Landscape. The owner, Kevin, came out to our property and gave us several options at a variety of different price points, and did an excellent job explaining the values of each option. Our primary need was to address drainage issues that were resulting from a front yard on a negative grade, and a front walkway that was built over a foundation of mud.
KM was the second lowest estimate I received, but I elected to go with them based on how knowledgeable the owner appeared to be. He did not seem to have his own agenda, whereas other providers seemed inclined to offer whatever service was their strength. Not only did Kevin and his team do an excellent job, it was done on time, Kevin was there to supervise, and he provided us with a plan for the plants and the layout in which we out to place the plants now that our landscaping has been redone. The company did not stand to profit on offering us a layout for new plants, and so we were very appreciate that they offered to do that for us.
The service was expected to take 2-3 days, aiming for two. When KM discovered that there was no foundation under the walkway, they went ahead and dug an extra foot and ordered extra gravel without charging us for the additional time or material.
I would absolutely recommend KM to anyone in need of landscaping and/or water management. Depending on how far your property is located from the KM storage facility in Glenwood, MD, they will require a minimum of a $1,000 job to come out.

Once I brought in KM Lawn and Landscape, it went very well. I had a lot of work to get done.
I had a huge bamboo field that I wanted removed. The first contractor I used was incompetent and unable to get the job done. He left piles of bamboo and broken stalks in the ground. KM Landscape came in and used a Bobcat to grind up the bamboo stalks so the ground was smooth. They were able to reserve dirt for me from a construction job during the summer so that it would be inexpensive for me to purchase. They brought the dirt in the fall to level the ground for planting grass. They planted grass seed, set up a watering system and the yard looks great. I wish I had started with KM Lawn first. If I had, would have saved me time, money and headaches.

We are consistently pleased with his work. We were the first to use him in our neighborhood, and have recommended him to many others. He now provides service to several neighbors. Kevin, the owner, is responsive, professional, friendly and honest. He is always willing to make suggestions, and has always been fair in his pricing. He adjusts mowing dates to conform to weather conditions, and will make schedule changes based on the owner's schedule (for example, if you are having a party and need the lawn mowed on a certain date).
