It succeeded. It has been 3 months since the work was done and there have been no more leaks. The owners are transparent and down-to-earth. They don't try to sell you something that you don't need. The price was much better than the other two quotes I received. The only negative point is that I wish they would have warned me about the mess I would have in my attic afterwards (lots of grit and wood scraps) so that I could've placed a tarp there to catch it. However, that's history now and I'm relieved to have a trustworthy roof. (Re-shingling and patching with other contractors didn't work for me.)
