BAL SERVICES

He was running a couple of minutes late and called me to let me know that. I appreciate that since the other two companies just gave up on me and never bother to call.

As usual, Bal came as soon as I called. The tree move was an emergency, as I'm having foundation work done, and the tree proved to be in the way. They replanted another bush, and moved it a second time to a better location after some deliberation. He didn't mind, just aimed to please. As a final nice touch, his worker found a single red tulip growing at the far end of the yard, all by itself. He took it upon himself to dig it up and place it near the new planting. It looked great, and balanced the new bed. What a thoughtful gesture!

Bal is a terrific person, such a pleasure to work with. He listened closely to what I asked him to do, and took extreme care to do it well. I told him I had to have it done within the next 3 days, and sure enough, he came through as promised. I was in the middle of a deck building project, and when my other contractors came by and saw the finished job, they were all impressed with what a great job he'd done, not to mention the high quality gravel he'd chosen to do the work. Lastly, while Bal had quoted the job based on one ton of gravel, in the end he had to get a second ton, but he stood by his original price quote. Bal is a very decent man, and anyone who works with him better treat him right!
