Our project was completed without any missteps and on time. Bill Whittington is the best contractor we've ever hired for home improvements. He is very knowledegable and listened carefully to what we wanted to achieve. Bill made himself available to us at all times. Our new screened porch is just what we wanted. Bill's foreman and carpenter were top notch. They were very detail oriented and addressed any small concern we had as the work progressed. They stayed with the work, in all weathers, until completion. We are very pleased and look forward to our next project with the Whittington Construction Group.

Mr. Whittington came to our home and evaluated our deck area for a retractable awning. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and came prepared with all the information we needed to make our decision. The awning arrived as promised and scheduled for installation promptly. The installers arrived with the awning and it was discovered that our house exterior wall insulation was thicker than most and required longer lag bolts in order to provide a more secure installation. They did as much prep work as the could and since it was late in the day, promised to return early the next morning with the longer bolts. They were apologetic but we were not upset because they were proving to us that they wanted to do the job right. They showed up on time the next morning, a Saturday, and we were very pleased with the results. The awning features and operation were explained thoroughly to us and they did a great job cleaning up when the job was completed. Everyone was friendly and they seemed excited and very knowledgeable about the product that they were installing for us.

The contractor came over with two different awning types, we discussed the good and bad of each, I made my decision and the order was in.  It took the length of time that the contractor suggested for it to arrive and the installed it very quickly after it was received.  All in all a very pleasant experience.

The owner and his two installers were prompt, courteous, and careful. The awning required a slight adjustment after it was installed. The workers came immediately to correct the problem and explain how the unit worked. I also got a discount on the SunSetter when I got the estimate.

Bill Whitington provides reliable high-quality construction service.  He and his crew have done several remodeling projects for our home and in every case they exceeded our expectations.

Bill (the owner) was great. What I like best about The Whittington Construction Group is that it is a legitimate professional contracting company. I had a slightly lower bid, but you get what you pay for typically. Bill showed up when he said he would, did what he said he would do, finished when he said he would, he was always professional, he had a professional appearance, great equipment, etc. There is great value in dealing with a professional in my opinion. Everyone loves my new deck. My vacation cabin looks so much better, and it has definitely increased the value. I'm probably a tough person to work for too. I'm a licensed home inspector with 22 years of experience, and a certified real estate appraiser. I inspect decks almost every day. I couldn't be more pleased with my new deck, and with my selection of The Whittington Construction Group as my contractor.

The sunroom is wonderful. The room is made in a factory with solid foam walls and the floor is 8" thick to keep out the cold. We had some rain come in during a storm as the construction had just started despite the tarps Bills team had in place. I called and he was here within the hour to help remedy the tarp replacement. The screens role up and the sliding windows make it easy to open for cross ventilation. I am very happy with the installation and the final product.The price was a little higher than I had hoped but all said I got a great value and an addition that will last.

I called on this company for service and they arrived with options and good advise. They were professional  and able to complete the installation in a single day. The installation included anchoring the awning from the attic of my home and the end result is great. They were very good to work with and I'd call on them again.

Bill arrived promptly at 8:am and he and his helper worked steadily for 3 hours installing our newly purchased Sunsetter motorized awning. It was a scorcher that day but they did not let that slow them down, in fact, I insisted that they take a break and drink some water. I was quite pleased with the professionalism and thoroughness of the workmanship. I especially like that Bill followed up by sending me a letter to thank me for my business and to let me know that his company does complete remodeling and renovations; this includes deck, porch enclosures, concrete/masonry work, blacktop, painting, roofing, steel buildings, sales and installations.
