Joshua, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. He listened to my needs and was able to come within a few days to do a three-acre mowing job when someone else backed out. Thank you for your quick attentiveness, professionalism and respect of my property.

I am hoping that Josh will see this and finally contact me back.  I have a small property in Falling Waters, WV that needed trees removed and an approx 9ft tall x 40 ft long retaining wall installed to level off the property.  Josh came out and is very pleasant and punctual.  After the initial tree removal (which went well), we moved onto the the next phase, which was the wall.  Josh called and said he got a great deal on fill dirt and the stone necessary for the wall.  For $6000 he dropped 400 tons on clean backfill, crushing run for the base and #2's for the driveway, plus rough grading.  When the estimate was texted, the cost was in excess of $21,000 additional.  After some phone tag back and forth, we needed a scope of work to be done with some degree of detail.  We never received that scope and after repeated attempts to contact Josh, we haven't heard from him.  We have had no less than 5 other contractors come to bid out the remainder of the project.  Every single on of them agreed that we were way overcharged for the dirt, rock and rough grading and they also agreed that there is no way that 400 tons of dirt was dropped.  We are lucky it's 100 tons of not so clean backfill.  I feel betrayed and taken advantage of. I truly believe Josh is good at his job and maybe there is a logical explanation for everything that is happening.  I hope that he gets in touch with me so we can complete this summer vacation spot for my family before another summer goes by.
