My basement flooded in September. I called Service Master, and they sent someone the same day - actually that evening. He stayed late and got all the wet carpet removed, set up fans and dehumidifiers, moved furniture around, and hauled everything out. They followed up several times the next week making sure that everything got dry and that there were no mold issues. The amount I paid them was my insurance deductable. They worked directly with my insurance for the remainder.
