Just moved into a new home in DC and called these folks because they were on the sticker on the HVAC unit. Turns out they installed one of the HVAC systems in my new home last year and from what I can tell did a fantastic job and it works GREAT!! Had them come to check out the two HVAC units in the house and the boiler. Guy that came was nice, professional, and VERY helpful. When talking over the phone with them they were very professional and responsive. I definitely feel comfortable with this company and will always use them when I need help with my HVAC.

While I have you on the phone, I have notes on my fingertips. We originally called for service, but they ended up installing heat pump/AC unit, entire system both outside unit and inside included. Came with a 10 year warranty. The gentleman, Tony was terrific. He did a temporary fix and then a month later the unit need replaced. We had a couple of problems, but everything was made okay. The ended up installing a better unit, a Carrier unit for the same price as the other one. We took other competitions, but we went with them, even though not the best price. I went into attic myself and did my own inspection with my husband.

They were really good and Tony was terrific.

Very well. The group was organized, and efficient. They paid attention to the minutest details in selecting the equipment that matched the home's needs. The old freon was flushed or replaced, the system units were mounted and sealed up tightly, and the water discharge lines were properly vented away from the foundation.

Very well. I used Olympic Aire because of their price and when the owner of the company came to do the estimate he explained what I needed and didn't try to sell me more than I needed. The 3 Installers were on time and polite. It was very big job and a very hot day but they had the job finished by the end of the day just what was planned. There was a dent in the outside cabinet of one of the units, they ordered a new one and installed it when it arrived. I have only good things to say about the whole experience.

Olympic was able to repair my "new" system that was installed by another company. Over two years I had multiple failures and service calls with the installation company. I severed my ties with the installation company and called Olympic. In a very short time they were able to troubleshoot and repair my HVAC system. I've not had a failure since. Thank you!

Absolutely!

The Olympic Aire technician arrived on time and from the start was professional and friendly. He explained every step of what he was doing as he began isolating the issue with my gas furnace. Within 15 minutes he discovered a blockage in my intake ventilation, removed it, and restored functionality to the system. The remainder of the system tune-up was then completed. I would highly recommend Olympic Aire to anyone looking for excellent HVAC service, be it regular maintenance or repair. I will certainly use their services again.

We had damaged exterior pipes to the exterior A/C unit while trying to remove weeds. We lost all air conditioning coolant during the hottest weekend of the entire summer. Interior heat of the home reached close to 100 degrees. This wouldn't be covered by our warranty since it was self-imposed so we looked on Angies List for a reputable repairman close to home. Olympic Aire had exceptional "A" ratings so we contacted them for appointment around 0430 in the morning. They came out the same morning (and even offered to come out right then).The technician was able to make repairs to the pipes and refilled the Freon Friday. He charged $730 for the service.

However, the A/C was operating but not cooling the house after the repairs.  The home again reached close to 100 degrees. We called the technician back and he arrived Monday. The technician stated that the previous loss of Freon damaged the interior unit and showed us where 2 of the coils were frozen. He also stated the coils were clogged by metal pieces from damage that happened when the A/C was running while the after the Freon leaked out.. He explained his former service wouldn't include the interior damage and stated it would be another $400 to repair (totaling nearly$1200).

His explanation of the damage didn't sound at all correct or feasible. The cost was also extreme as, usually, if a repair is requested and isn't completed, customers normally have 180 days to have the tech return without additional cost. In this case, the technician came up with a different cause which would have had additional cost. We declined.

We contacted TITANS HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING in lieu who were not able to come out for 2 days. The technician came out and reviewed the situation and was adamant that there was nothing wrong with the interior unit.  He stated that we were overcharged for the repair and the unit was not filled with Freon properly.  He filled the unit with additional Freon and we haven't had an issue since.

The explanation of the speculative interior damage that turned out not to be correct, the lack of being able to properly measure the amount of Freon required to fill the unit, and the request for additional money for repairs for damage that didn't exist greatly depreciated our confidence in the high rated Olympic Aire Services Inc.d

Tony was excellent and friendly.  He explained issues clearly, and adjusted the system to help with air flow in the upper floors. 

After purchasing the diagnostic service, I contacted Olympic Aire at 11:10 am and they were at my front door at 11:28 am.  I had a dead capacitor at which I was charges $189 to replace and rewire.  The installation was done by 11:45 am.  The response time and repair time was amazing!!! Although the cost to replace the capacitor was more than I would expect to pay, the service time and quality made up.

Olympic Aire was giving me a second opinion on replacing my HVAC system.   Tony, the tech arrived on time, put on red shoe covers which I loved, was very professional and shared his knowledge by explaining how the system worked in great detail (nicely explained and understood).   To my surprise, Tony said I did not need a new system.  I needed two pounds of Freon and the system would be operational.  So far, the house is cool and the system is operating as it did before.  By getting a second, but this time an honest opinion, I saved thousands of dollars by not replacing a system that does not need to be replaced.  An added bonus is that I got a quote on replacing the entire system (which I don't need) for less than the first dishonest company I planned to use.  Thank you Olympic Aire for being honest to others.  You will be be my new HVAC service provider and this story will be told over and over again.  

From start to finish, unequivocally the FINEST customer service and customer satisfaction experience I have ever had! I have been a customer of this business for about five years, and this was the first large project i required. The owner, Rick, designed the replacement configuration--necessary ductwork, venting, etc., and sold us the unit. He was superbly professional, and honest to a fault. Not only did he not attempt to upsell us, he was candidly and refreshingly honest with what we DID need instead of what we thought we needed, and saved us several thousand dollars. He embodies scrupulous business ethics. His technicians were incredibly proficient, professional, knowledgable, and impeccably detailed. If you are considering any type of work in this arena, you are doing yourself a disservice using any other business. This is THE business for your HVAC needs in Southern MD! I have never been more satisfied, and Olympic Aire has a customer for life! 
P.S. The installed equipment operates better than advertised. I urge any and all to consider Olympic Aire Services.
