I really like how they make my wife feel comfortable whenever she takes the car in, and explains everything to her thoroughly. They will show you the bad part, why it failed and give an explanation why they had to replace it. This company also has the cheapest labor rate per hour that I have found in this area.

He goes to school, and he does everything, and has kept up to date on technology. That makes him so good. He knew about the sensor, and he knew that it was a possibility,and so he checked it first. I don't think he is the cheapest guy around, but he is the best guy around.

My Hyundai Veracruz quit on the road after losing power, dashboard warning lights coming on, and I could not shift the transmission. I called Affordable Automotive, where all of our car service and repairs are done, and they gave me the name of their towing service. The gentleman came with his rollback within 20 minutes and towed the car to Affordable.
My husband remembered that we had purchased an extended warranty when we bought the vehicle, and we both assumed that the work would not be covered unless we took it back to the dealer where it was purchased. We asked the owner at Affordabe if we needed to have it towed to the dealer instead and he said let me see the policy, so we went home and got it. When the owner at Affordable reviewed the warranty policy, he said Affordable Automotive is certified to do the work for Fidelity Warranty Services and that we didn't need to take it to the Hyundai dealer. He then called Fidelity Warranty Services and spent 45 minutes or more talking to the claims rep about the symptoms, diagnosis, and labor which would be required to make the repair. Because of his negotiations with Fidelity Warranty Services, all charges, including the towing, diagnostics, parts, and labor were covered by the warranty.
Affordable Automotive has done all of the service on my Veracruz since we first purchased it as they are an authorized service provider for all new cars. It is very comforting to have the same people work on our cars year after year. They know us and our vehicles and it is great to have that continuity. We also have the assurance of knowing that, because Affordable Automotive is a member of TechNet Professional Auto Service, parts and repairs they perform are covered by a nationwide warranty for 24 months/24,000 miles. Towing and repairs would be performed by the nearest TechNet service provider...very important to us when traveling.

We are thrilled with the results after taking the vehicle to Affordable Automotive! They took their time to figure out what was wrong with the A/C rather than simply guessing and charging us for parts and labor that may not have ultimately fixed the problem. Finally, our A/C is working properly, and the other work Affordable Automotive completed made a HUGE difference in terms of overall vehicle performance. The entire team provided outstanding customer service. They worked closely with us to pinpoint the problems we were experiencing, and they followed up to ensure we were satisfied with the work they completed. The Affordable Automotive shop is an hour from our home, but it was well worth the trip to finally work with a group of automotive professionals who were so knowledgeable and customer service oriented!

I called early Monday morning, September 9, 2013. I was having problems with a noise when I slowed down, stopped or turned left or right. Did not happen all the time but since I had a long drive in a couple of days, I was concerned if my car might leave me stranded somewhere. The lady answering the phone told me to bring it in. Now, I have been there before, as you can see from my earlier review in June, so I gave her my information and she acknowledged remembering. After the first visit in June and the only time I had been there, I knew my questions would be answered. and I would get the customer service I had received then.
Well, they did it again. My expectations were high from the first visit but now they have exceeded well beyond my first expectations. I will never go to another shop as long as I live in this area. This automotive shop is the best.
In the case of my car, Carl noticed that my trunk hatchback was not sealing correctly. He made many adjustments and it solved the problem. He took the time to drive my car, find the problem and fix the solution at no charge. The customer service he provided corrected the issue and removed my concerns. Carl gets my recommendation for any repairs, major or minor for all vehicles.

There is so much to say about this place, I don’t know where to begin. My car was literally falling apart in some areas, steering, brakes, you name it. It was broke. I took a trip the week before taking my car to Affordable Auto Repair and I was shocked at the noise and shaking going on. Before this trip, I had noticed a bit but was putting off getting it looked at due to my past experiences with auto repair shops. After the trip, I knew I really needed to get major repairs. I had been going to a franchise repair service for years and never had the service that this shop had given me. Carl, the owner, took my husband and myself on a test drive to see exactly what he thought it needed. He ask that I bring the car back in a day and he would try to get it completed by the weekend. Took it back on a Thursday early am and got it back on Friday am. The very BEST customer service and the most thorough repairs my car has ever had. I never want to sell or get rid of my car even though it is 15 years old and the longest I’ve had a car was 10 years. They don’t make this car anymore and I had let my daily routines outweigh getting my car fixed. I can’t say enough about the customer service I received from Carl and the two ladies in the office. They not only fixed everything that was wrong in the engine, steering and rear end, plus all new tires and staying under my budgeted amount, they vacuumed and washed my car. AND, also Carl went out of his way to come to my home and pick me up as I had no transportation to the shop so I could test drive him back to the shop. I say that was way above the call of duty for an automotive repair shop. My car has not driven like this since it was new in 1998. I was Ecstatic! This facility is much more than your average auto repair shop. They treat you like family. Affordable Automotive Repair is a remarkable company to deal with and YOU will be happy you did.

Excellent customer experience. The story is that I dropped my car off and Affordable Auto took excellent care of me - all in the same day. They not only did the recommended service, but called out problems that were quite serious in nature. They were able to get the parts and get the car back to me in the same day. I would certainly recommend them for all automotive repair needs!

Before my appointment I spoke with the owner Carl Kupenski on the phone and told him I needed an oil change. He mentioned that I probably needed my tires checked, I explained to him that I had recently had my brakes replaced and that I did NOT need brakes. He said we'll see when you get here, we'll take care of you. Yes they sure did "take care" of me. I sat in the waiting room for my whole appointment, without any employee talking to me the entire time. The owner brought my car around and I walked outside, he asked me if I wanted to go on the test drive with him. I drove it a little and mentioned the alignment was way off (my steering wheel was completly sidways when I was driving straight). Carl Kupenski, the owner, blaimed it on me, saying it was like that when I brought it in. I was insistant because I had just got a front end alignment and brakes. When I got back to the shop I waited another 1/2 hour and they called me up to pay when I noticed they had charged me for a complete set of brakes. I recalled for them that I had specifically told Carl that I DID NOT NEED BRAKES. I then asked him to give me the parts that were taken off of my car (mercedes) he tells me he can't find them. I proceeded to talk to the techs in the garage and found the guy who did the brake job. He tells me that it was the owner who insisted I have new brakes and that they should be in a pile, and as he was taking me to the pile of old parts Carl the owner comes out of nowhere and jumps in front of us and starts going through the pile saying "here they are" and hands some parts in a box to me. I took the parts he gave me to the nearest mr. tire and they tell me those parts are for a toyota and a ford, that they are not from my car. I am now sueing Carl Kupenski and Affordable Automotive. I SUGGEST YOU STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

"DUE TO THE TIME FRAME, I HAD TO PULL SOME FILES AND DIGITAL PICTURES OFF OUR SERVER. I WANT TO START BY STATING THAT PEOPLE BRING AUTOS TO US TO REPAIR/S . THIS HIGHT MILAGE GERMAN AUTO HAD BEEN TO MANY OTHER NON CERTIFIED SHOPS. IN FACT A MAINTENANCE LIST WAS PRESENTED TO US TO LOOK AT AND DIAGNOSE. THIS INDICATED THAT THE OTHER SHOPS JUST MISSED THE MARK ON THE REPAIRES. ONE SHOULD NOTE THAT CARS NEED MAINTENANCE, LIFE GETS BUSY AND WHEN OUR TRANSPORTATION LETS US DOWN IT IS UPSETTING. WE FOUND THAT THE WRONG PARTS WE INSTALLED ON THIS CAR , SOME SAFETY ISSUES. REGULAR MAINTENANCE IS THE KEY. THE CAR CAN'T HAVE A NICE COAT OF WAX AND NOT CORRECT MAINTENANCE FOR YEARS + THE HIGH MILAGE. BOTTOM LINE, THE CUSTOMER AUTHORIZED THE REPAIRS. SHE DROVE THE CAR AWAY IN MUCH BETTER SHAPE AND SAFER AS WELL. I WOULD THINK THAT ONE WOULD NOT DRIVE THAT DISTANCE JUST FOR AN OIL CHANGE, OUR LUBE SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING , BUT IT COULD OF BEEN DONE WITH WAY LESS TRAVEL. THE LESSON HERE IS GET THAT AUTO IN TWO TIMES A YEAR FOR SERVICE SO NO SURPRIZES POP UP.LOOK AT THE OVERALL COST OF OWBERSHIP. WE DO SAVE USED PARTS FOR CUSTOMER INSPECTION IF REQUESTED. HOWEVER WITH THE SIZE OF THE SHOP AND VOLUME OF WORK WE JUST CAN'T STACK ITEMS UP. WE ARE A GREEN FACILTY, THAT IS TO SAY TIRES, ( FOR FIRE SAFETY) SCRAP METAL AND USED PARTS GET PICKED UP WEEKLY UNLESS REQUESTED TO HOLD PARTS. THE UPSIDE, SHE DROVE THE CAR MANY MORE MILES WITHOUT ISSUES. SAFE AND RELIABLE. SORRY THAT SHE WAS STRESSED , WE WORK HARD TO MAKE THE REPAIR PROCESS LESS PAINFUL.
