We are very happy with the work done by M&M Plumbing in White Marsh. We contacted Sears for a home warranty repair for our Garbage Disposal. Sears assigned the work to M&M Plumbing in White Marsh. We called and were able to quickly get the work scheduled and repaired by Maurice. The repairman came equipped with a replacement and completed the work in 1 hour. Care was taken to keep the area clean and isolated due to the ongoing pandemic. We are very happy with the work done and highly recommend this company.

This is the second time we have used Mo and as usual it was a great experience. Was prompt, worked until job was finished and all for a reasonable price. M&M Plumbing has become our go to plumber!!!! Very courteous and reliable.

Experience was great! Woke up in the morning to clogged kitchen and laundry room sinks filled with water. Called many plumbers none of which could come out that day. Went on Angie's List and found M&M, called and left message and call was returned within 20 minutes. Owner came out within and hour and a half, added a clean out underneath kitchen sink (at no extra charge) and snaked the drain. Very professional - would use again in a heartbeat.

Mo replaced all the old galvanized pipes in our home with new CPVC piping. We were updating our bathroom as well and he installed our new sink, toilet, and connected our shower. Very reasonable price and he followed through on everything in the estimate - we even added a new water heater. Very nice guy, 100% satisfied and we will be using him again in the future !

I wish I could rate Mo, the plumber, and his secretary/wife, Maria, separately. If I could, I'd give me an A++++. He's a really nice guy, incredibly prompt, very straightforward with options, and reasonably priced. He was also very respectful of our home, cleaning up after himself once he was done to the point they you'd never know he had come.
That is, of course, once you finally get to schedule an appointment with Maria. The voicemail message says that your call will be returned within an hour (at least during business hours), but that's never actually happened. On average, I'd say I have to call and leave at least 4 messages and wait at least overnight before I actually hear back from her. And getting her to call you back is not a guarantee that anything will get done--in fact, she doesn't seem to know her husband's schedule, so she'll probably have to call you back in order to set one up (I don't think I need to spell out how long that will take--forever). In her case, frustrated persistence really does pay off. Plan on wasting at least a week on leaving increasingly desperate voicemails before you actually get something done. If Mo wasn't so great, I'd swear off the company all together and go with another.
Moral of the story: Mo either needs to fire his wife as secretary (I could only imagine how that would go with the family), or plan on getting Mo's direct line when you finally get him to come over to save yourself a headache and a possible slide into alcoholism.

Maurice was recommended by a friend who used him through her home warranty program. I left a message and got a call back not too long after. He came out to give an estimate and recommended reasonable and affordable solutions. He even suggested that we use a backup sump pump that is powered by water instead of battery for a maintenance-free solution. We were able to schedule a Saturday appointment so I did not have to take time off work. He arrived on time and got all the requested things done. He had to cut some holes through dry wall to get the pipe from water heater overflow pan to sump pit, which I had to find someone else to patch. Clean up was not perfect but nothing major. One thing that we found weird is that my husband had to write two separate checks -- one for his company and one directly to him. For some reason, water heater overflow valve started leaking afterwards. He came back out to fix it for free within a few days. Luckily, we do not have to use the overflow pan or back-up sump pump yet. The ice maker is working fine.
Update Aug 2012: Called them for another estimate but never got a call back...

This service provider was actually recommended to us through our HMS. We found a slow leak coming from the main water line in our basement. The plumber told us that he would not be able to fix the leak from inside our house and would have to charge us 300$ (outside of the warranty) to dig into our front yard to fix the pipe. The first day he came, he told me that his partner could not help him so he would do what he could in the basement and come back another day to dig in the front yard. He finally came back 5 days later to "finish" the job and we were not happy with the results. When the water was turned back on by the county, the leak turned into a heavy stream of water leaking all over our basement floor and the plumber had already left. I thought it was strange that he asked us to pay in cash and immediately cashed the check once he left. Now we are out of 300$, water had to be turned off and the problem is worse!

They were through our home warranty and the price was all covered by the warranty. I had a deductible by the warranty, but they did great work. They were right on time and very responsive. They called back very fast and the guy himself was very nice. If need be, I would probably use them again.

I think he is very good with toilets and unclogging stuff. The job in the kitchen when put the new sink in, it was deeper and he chipped the counter a little bit but didn't fix that. He is a very reliable person, if he tells you he's going to be there, he's going to be there. He's not expensive, he's moderately priced because he owns his own company. He's also pleasant and polite.

Great, he was early, called ahead to confirm. Mo has done a ton of work for us and always is honest and on-time.
