Amazing customer service! I have never spoke to a rep to find out that bc I went back they wiped my previous tank charges away, which meant I did not have to pay past due balance to restore services, I am so glad I called them back to get a price. I will stay with them now on!!

I would give them a one out of a million. They are the worst. Their rates are really high and their service on refilling tanks was spotty.

I had to get another provider if I wanted hot water and to be able to cook. It was as if they didn't want to do business.

We live in Baltimore County (Towson area) and have had service with Amerigas for several years. We called Jan 10, 2014 for fill up, and have called many times since then. We called the National Number, and they said they we will put the order in. We called the White Hall store many times and the same answer, "we are sorry-we can not tell you when we will be there", and to this day (Feb 12, 2014) we still do not have a delivery date. The policy, per the person on phone is, 7 day delivery. The delivery ticket shows on the system but no delivery for us. This firm has terrible customer service, is poorly managed, and has high costs. Run to a competitor, as we will do. The tank, which is owned by Amerigas, will be requested to be removed. We used Suburban Propane in another house with no issues. Back Suburban or another firm soon!

We are 100% confident Amerigas will not respond to this review, as they have no comments on the other bad reviews. The Corp and Local management team should be fvery concerned with the reviews on Angie's List, as other firms do not have these issues.

I ordered propane almost 2 weeks ago and paid in advance, no surprise ( based on 7 years of experience w/ Amerigas) still waiting for delivery. It's zero outside and we're probably going to run out of fuel, Amerigas is well aware of this and apparently couldn't care less! Unfortunately Amerigas own's my tank (perhaps this would explain the awful service) I'll take care of that as soon as they start taking phone calls again.Save yourself a LOT of aggravation, don't do business with this company!!!!!!

I have used them for about 10 years. The issue with them is if you don't sign up for one of their price lock programs they really gouge the daylights out of you. If you forget to do it you pay over twice as much as it would cost for their program. I have to constantly fight about this with them because I don't keep up with it like I should. I am not all that happy with them and I reluctantly keep using them. It is a national company and the office staff in the local office is pretty good.

I HAD TO SET UP A NEW ACCOUNT WITH AMERIGAS. THE SALES PERSON OVER THE TELEPHONE WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING ON THE DELIVERY DATE, AS MY SCHEDULE IS A NIGHTMARE. THE SERVICE MAN WAS VERY PLEASANT. IT WAS PRETTY PAINLESS TO COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION.
