They were very good, on time, professional and I've been using them for 15 years.

Sadly last year they power washed our deck but we are not sure the sealer was ever applied. If sealer was applied, it was watered down. The deck showed signs of green moss only two months after the service. It usually takes over a year to show signs of green moss in the shaded areas of our deck. I emailed the company with my concern and never heard back from them. We would not recommend them anymore.

They arrived, climbed on my roof and used a leaf blower to blow out my gutters. They were done in about 5 minutes, ready to get paid and leave. So I had to ask them to get back on my roof with my garden hose and flush out the downspouts and then clean up all of the leaf debris their leaf blowers left all over my back patio. I've used I&J for many years to clean my gutters and these things were never anything I had to ask them to do. It seems their quality has slipped. I may have to think of a new company for this service in the future.

The last three times I had the gutter serviced. The first time I used them I had a little post card in the mail and they do it for a X number of dollars. The next time they came it was the owners nephew and another person and they did a fabulous job. I liked them so much that I rang them up and had them come again. I asked them how much it would cost and they said it would be $75. They came around three times and did a fabulous job and the fourth or fifth time they came there was this one guy comes and cleaned the gutter and I wrote him a check and he said it would not do it would be a $100. I told him that I was told that it was $75 and I am writing the check for what I'm going to pay. So he was all mad. The next time they came I asked another guy who came to make sure of the price. I asked him and made sure that it was $75 when he made the appointment and he says it is $100. The people I made the appointment said $75 and the guy who came out said it was $100. He did the work and did some things to my plants to make them not look nice. He writes on the paper that the next time its $100. I told him the people who make the appointment say its $75 and I am not going to pay a $100. The last time that they came he was already working and I asked him how much its going to be and he says $125. I was told by the people that I made the appointment with that it would cost $75 and they got into the car and drove off. I did not get my gutters cleaned. I rang up the people and I told them what happened. I asked them to send me somebody to do the gutters at what price they said it is. They hung up on me. I called back and asked them why they hung up on me, now they do not answer the phone any more. I am appalled.

The deck looks terrific.  Three plants died the following day, but I can't necessarily attribute it to the cleaning technique.  The front porch floor and railing were cleaned, but not the upper part of the porch or the wall of the house.  That might have been a communication flaw on my part but it was so obviously dirty that most crew would have inquired.  They offered to power wash the driveway for an additional $350.  The price seemed high, but they assured me it would get rid of all of the weeds.  Unfortunately, many weeds remain that I have been pulling out on my hand and knees.  They also managed to coat our basement door with mud and stained the basement windows next to the driveway.  I did not notice this until after they had left.  They also blew all the sand out from between the pavers.  They told me that it did not need to be replaced, but I would like a second opinion. Overall, $900 seems like a lot of money for 3 hours of work of less than perfect qualtiy.

I have used I&J Services for several years to clean my windows. I also used them a few weeks ago to pressure wash my patios.  The service was always very good, timely, and quick, and the price was reasonable.  I had schedule to have my windows washed this year.  I called today to reschedule the service.  The person who answered the phone stated that I had rescheduled the service 3 times according to her computer so she would have to charge me an additional fee.  Her tone of voice was very accusatory.  I told her there was a mistake, that I had not rescheduled before, and was going to ask her to recheck to be sure she was looking at the correct customer.  She restated that her computer said I had rescheduled three times and hung up on me.  I called back and very calmly said that I was a long time customer and that her customer service did not reflect that.  She hung up on me again.  I don't like providing feed back this way without trying to go to a higher authority; however, she is the only person who answers the phone and I won't try talking to her again.

The crew of two arrived on time and did a  thorough job removing the debris in my gutters.

I was extremely pleased with my entire experience with I&J Services. I received a number of recommendations for window cleaning companies from my neighbors and contacted three for bids. I&J was the only company that actually sent someone out to look at my house, even after I told the others that it was not a "normal" job. The price quoted was in line with one of the others (the third was much higher), so I contracted with them. The person on the phone was very pleasant and professional. The two-man crew showed up right on time, carefully removed and washed all 40 screens, did all 62 windows, doors and sills inside and out, put all the screens back in and were done in about 2 hours. It was WELL worth the cost and I am thrilled with the results. The guys were polite and efficient, even taking their shoes off inside. I have no complaints about this company, and probably will hire them to do some other small things in the future.

I have used I and J Services to clean my house gutters on a number of occasions and I am completely satisfied with their work.. The price for each cleaning has been $85. When I made my last appointment, I asked if the price was still $85 and the response was yes. When the tech came to my home even after I told him I was quoted a price of $85, he insisted that the price was $100. I feel that $100 is still a good price however, I think it is a poor business practice to quote a price and not to honor it. The difference was covered by not providing a tip which I normally give for good service.

2 people came, on time, and went about their work quietly and efficiently. They were finished in about an hour, windows are sparkling clean and screens were washed.
Two people had recommended them to me, and I would certainly use them again.

They were efficient, thorough, and did what they said they would. They even cleaned out the window wells.

It went very well. We had to ask them to reschedule the work three times due to weather and an unforeseen delay on another project which precluded their access to our house. They were very understanding and accommodating of our rescheduling requests. The two workers showed up on time and were very courteous. Our windows are the old wooden style with at least 12 individual panes in each of them. The workers washed 20 windows inside and outside on all three stories of the house. There are storm windows on all but one of the 20, and they washed them inside and outside too. They also removed and washed all screens and cleaned the window sills. Additionally, they washed the windows on all five of the exterior doors and the three storm doors. Overall, a great job.

I have used I and J many times to clean my windows inside and out, clean the siding, and the gutters. The crew usually comes with 4-5 guys. The crew leader speaks English. The rest typically do not. They are very respectful and thorough. I have also asked them to clean the large veranda. They added that and did an excellent job ( add. $100 - reasonable). They are able to reach the second story windows and gutters without any trouble i.e.. they come with the proper equipment to do the job. They clean the siding BY HAND - no power washing!! One minor note, last year I had to check their work as some windows still had smudges but maybe I'm just a bit too picky. They gladly re-cleaned the windows that I pointed out. Their prices are the BEST around. I highly recommend I and J. I just booked them to come again next week. (May 2013)

The washers came on time and were polite and friendly. They washed the windows in record time and did a just OK job. After they left, I discovered that they had severely dented and bent a window screen frame. I called the company to complain and was told that someone would come by in the afternoon to look at the damage. Late in the afternoon, I called again since no-one had arrived. This time I was told that the window washers had claimed that I had damaged the frame and therefor the company was not liable. I tried to explain that this was untrue but was repeatedly told that the window washers claimed I had damaged the frame (what good company insists that a customer is a liar?!). I asked to talk to a supervisor and was directed to somebody's voicemail.

I can't say for sure how prompt they are. I am telecommuter and (virtually) chained to my desk in the house. So I'm not too fussy about when they arrive. Once I did have to call to get a status. Yes, they were running late. It would be nice if they called to inform the person waiting, I guess. When they arrive I always point out the trouble area and we haven't had any problems since we've become dilligent about getting it cleaned regularly.
The window cleaning went very well. There were three of them and they set to work immediately. They had no trouble with our finicky double hung windows or the difficult-to-put-back-in screens. Nice job.

I'll start out by saying that I didn't find this company via Angies' List, but will make sure I do my research in the future.
I emailed in my request and they sent someone to provide an estimate within a few days. I then emailed in an appointment request, but received no response. I emailed again a few days later and was told I was already on their schedule.
The workers showed 10 minutes early and finished in an hour and a half. One worker didn't speak at all, the other acted like he barely spoke English as I asked him questions. They wanted payment by check/cash, which should have been info'd on the estimate (I usually pay via credit card).
They only powerwashed the front of the home and only the garage door (not the brickwork above it - which is also in front of the home).
They were to return two days later to seal the deck they powerwashed. It rained the next day, so I emailed a request to delay the sealing, which I received an email confirmation. They still showed up the day after it rained and sealed the deck, with my furnishings still on it.
They sent a supervisor to address my concerns. I received no response back, so once again I had to reach out. I was then informed that all work was provided.
I've been emailing trying to resolve the issue, but they've offered no reimbursement, rework, etc.

Came as soon as we called. Did a very professional job and left the house in sparkling condition.
