Rusty did another terrific job for us. He refinished a sizable section of our kitchen cabinets; - the quality and finish were terrific. He also replaced the door hinges and drawer slides with soft close ones. He was very considerate of our schedule. Will call on him again next time we need refinishing or other furniture-related services.

Rusty is both honorable & incredible! We have very expensive & difficult JeldWen doors that required refinishing, but that company is exceedingly difficult to deal with! Rusty called them to be certain of the refinishing process. When the process did not produce the results that he & we wanted, he tracked down better info & redid the doors. When the final finish was still not acceptable to all of us, he returned once again & did a beautiful job! He would not take a penny extra, nor did he ever complain about the difficult situation. His work is superb (when JeldWen instructions don’t create problems!) and he is wonderful to deal with! We recommend him highly and without reservation!!

The table looks like new!! Pick-up and delivery went like clockwork.

Rusty stained a bookcase and cabinet for us, and did a phenomenal job! It looks SPECTACULAR! Not only did he and his team finish it beautifully, he and I communicated over weeks to get the color samples right. He patiently sent multiple pictures of stain samples until he was sure we really liked the color. The price was fair and reasonable, and we feel we got the quality and workmanship at a tremendous value.

Rusty did a great job and even re-did at no charge the table because my wife was not 100% satisfied. Compared to the other refinishers in this area, Rusty is by far the best, most competent and reasonably priced. We heartily recommend him.

Rusty did another great refinishing job for us. 2 kitchen cabinets with glass were damaged when we bought the house 11+ years. Despite that the damage bothered me, we did not get around to doing anything about it until last month. Rusty's team picked up the doors and he returned with them over the weekend. They perfectly matched the original cabinetry. He installed them himself. He also made some changes to the hinges so the doors now open and closed correctly. They look terrific. Thanks Rusty. From start to finish, this company is top rate!! Excellent work!! I couldn't be more pleased! Rusty made my parents' old furniture look new! He patiently worked with me to decide just the right color to stain the furniture, and the results are beautiful! His delivery crew is also top rate! They very carefully negotiated my stairs to deliver the furniture to the second floor, leaving the walls and furniture unharmed. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company. The piece looks great! The color and finish was amazing. They replaced the mirror, new keyhole covers with locks and keys. My husband had this piece in his bedroom as a child and it was in desperate need of some love. Rusty came to pick it up and answered all my questions. He had it ready in a shorter amount of time which was great. I would totally recommend this company.

Rusty did a terrific job on an almost antique mahogany 'hope chest' with cedar interior and a solid oak kitchen table. Both were done to perfection and on schedule. Reasonable prices for the quality. Plan to use Rusty for a few other projects. His pick-up & delivery team are courteous and professional.

Rusty and his team did a terrific job, much better and more reasonably priced than another refinisher we used earlier (and will never use again) for an older maple/hardwood bedroom set. On the table, Rusty used catalyzed varnish on the oak table which will improve durability. Urethane was used on the chest and the drawers. The finish on all the pieces is essentially flawless; the color matches are perfect. We were not 100% satisfied with one thing; Rusty promptly changed it to our satisfaction; (it was not a defect, it was a preference type of matter) Rusty has a team of professionals who pick and deliver. They are very courteous. careful and knowledgeable. If you need furniture refinished and/or repaired and you are within Rusty's geographic territory, there is no other choice - he is the person to select.

The work was done with precision, care, and excellence! With a new mirror, attractive pulls, repaired leg, and stain the exact color my daughter wanted, the dresser looked even better than it would have 50 years ago when it was new! Mr. Walker (Rusty) even restored the drawers to new working order and redid the inside of each. In addition, he included pick-up and delivery in the cost -- a deal breaker for me, since I wanted the project to be as convenient as possible. We were all very impressed and pleased with the outcome!

Very well. The company picked up and returned the chair. Work was extremely well done; you would not notice the repair unless you are specifically looking and knowing where it was broken. Took a little longer than I anticipated to get the chair back, but that was really of no consequence.

Rusty and his employees refinished a bookcase-cabinet, my entire bedroom set, and my brass headboard.  The bookcase and bedroom sets were 40 years old.  They were taken by them to their facility and refinished.  The bedroom set was perfectly done and looks like new.  I've had visitors make that same comment.  The bookcase was also done at their facility but needed touch-ups here at home. The brass headboard had to be redone.  Rusty was very helpful and took it back and redid it.  All the transportation was included in the price.
Rusty is pleasant and professional.  He knows his business and is willing to fix anything that wasn't done perfectly. I would recommend him for your furniture refinishing.

Walker Furniture did a number of projects for me and in every respect they exceeded expectations.  Rusty gave me practical advice and reasonable estimates, not pushing for a lot of fussy stuff that wasn?t needed but recommending an approach appropriate to the piece.  You don't need to get a lot of bids and compare, you can trust Rusty to do right by you.  He repaired one my grandmother?s piano seat for only $75.00?just fixed it and buffed it up a little.  The only pricy item was a refurbishing of my Great Aunt Claire?s claw-foot table that was rough looking when I got it in 1975, and had been sitting in my basement so long that one of the claw feet had rotted.  Rusty replaced the foot and refurbished it so that it looks as good as new.  They picked them up and dropped them off when done, they handled everything carefully and professionally.

But the most AWESOME thing he did for me is rescue one of my own failed projects.  A few years ago when we had some trees removed I had the brilliant idea to make a table for my family room from cross-cuts of the tree.  After slipping the tree crew a few extra bucks to take some slices, I was stuck on what to do next. Randy turned my slab into a truly creative piece that fits beautifully in my great room.  THANKS Rusty!

Absolutely fantastic!!
Initially I was very skeptical. I sent pictures of the chairs to Rusty and explained what I would like to have done and would he provide me with a cost estimate.
In a very short time he got back with an estimate that caused the skepticism. Reason being I had an estimate from another vendor and his price was twice as much. But because of the Angies List testimonies, I decided to go with Walker Furniture Sevices.
The experience was great, he made an appoint to pick up chairs and material (I provided for covering seats), they arrived on time picked up chairs as  promised. Now mind you, Walker Furniture is in Westminister MD, Im in Washington DC. Some weeks later I touched base with Rusty to get an idea of when they might be ready. He informed me that they were just about done and he would be in touch. A week later he called to say they were ready for delivery. We settled on a date and time.
Rusty's guys called to say they would be a little early and if that was OK, of course it was and they brought the chairs.
Now all of that skepticism was washed away, the chairs look fantastic!! The black finish, the upholstery, looked so good I could hardly believe they were the same chairs. He also, as I requested, beefed up the cushining in the seat and they sit perfectly.
If I or anyone I know, needs furniture work Rusty Walker will be the first thing out of my mouth.
This was all accomplished with emails and pictures and I have yet to meet this wonderful person.
This was my first experience using a Angies List provider and boy what a great one!!

Service was done as estimated, delivery was prompt, and items were carried carefully into my house.

Rusty Walker provides responsive customer service, and the new finish on our double pedestal dining room table is very nice.  His team handled delivery and pick up of the table, and carefully reassembled it. They confirmed whether we wanted to have the brass caps on the pedestal feet polished, as some customers do not like a "shiny" look.  While I am sure all jobs have different timelines, given the company's work flow at any given time, our table was ready in just one week.  We would definitely work withthis company again.
