Walker Furniture Services, family owned and operated, is a one stop shop for all of your furniture needs. We offer a wide range of services restoring and refinishing furniture and also offer architectural woodwork for both residential and commercial clients. We enjoy working with residential clients to restore heirlooms, update their decor, or help with pet/child/general wear and tear. Walker Furniture Services is also comfortable sorting out moving damage and insurance work to satisfy all parties. Commercial clients benefit from image enhancement at a significantly lower cost than replacement or complete refinishing. We utilize traditional skills while still remaining state of the art - that is what sets Walker Furniture Services apart. Our services are customized to your specific needs at a reasonable price.

Rusty restored a 1960 walnut buffet that had nicks and scratches and an over-worn finish back to looking new. The grain and coloring was restored back to its original finish. Amazing job!!!!

Rusty came on time and did a beautiful job of fixing white spots on my 40 year old oak dresser and a water spot on a night table. It looks new again. He was very nice and took his shoes off when he came in the house. That was impressive. :)

Walker Furniture Services ( Rusty) did an outstanding job of refinishing a dining table and 4 chairs. We were pleasantly surprised when we received our dining set back to match our new decor. Rusty’s work produce a set that was very well received. You would think the set always had this stain. To us this is a new and fabulous set. They exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend Rusty for any refinishing/staining work. Excellent work, fair pricing.

Rusty did a beautiful job refinishing the kitchen table. It was 60 years old and left in the garage for 10 years. When he completed the work it was better than when it was new. I would recommend him highly.

I have felt guilty for not posting this sooner. about three years ago, I called them to pick up, repair and refinish an old dining room set I had shipped to my daughter from California to Baltimore. They sort of trashed it and they were going to move to Severna Park. I called Walker's from California, had them pick up the furniture in Baltimore, repair and refinish it then deliver it to Severna Park to my daughter's house. I absolutely could not have been more pleased because of the quality of work, price and service. They are TOPS!

I have 100+ year-old oak desk made by my grandfather that had gotten worn over the years. My wife had been pestering me for months to get it refinished but I worried about damage during transport and would refinishing work. I hired Walker Furniture and 3 week later I had my desk back looking brand new. It was amazing. Terrific work including repairing damage to the desk surface. I highly recommend this company.

Needed to refinish very expensive JeldWen fiberglass front entry double doors. Rusty called them to be sure of their recommendations. When the doors did not turn out to his & our satisfaction, he did further research & redid them. When the final coat did not take well, he came back and redid that. None of the problems were caused by him! He never complained, never took any extra payment, and was wonderful to deal with. An incredibly honorable & decent man! We highly recommend him with no reservations!!

I am so pleased with the refinish job they did for me. My table looks better than new. They matched the color perfectly. I would definitely get them again. Great product, a job well done. Could work on communication some. If they say 2-3 weeks, think more like 6 weeks. And pick up or delivery was always 1 hour later without benefit of call. But I am still really satisfied with their work and will hire them again as needed

It's finding people like Rusty Walker that makes Home Advisor so valuable. After selecting him over several other contractors, he refinished my front door in a way that makes it look like new, on time, and at a very reasonable price. In addition, I had a burn mark on a wooden dining room table that he repaired by applying a liquid solvent -- and did it without charge. Other contractors claimed it would take substantial work to do the repair. If you need furniture or wood repair work, you should talk with Rusty.
