Todd's Pool Service, LLC

Tried to contact Todd numerous times but he never returned my messages. Emailed, called the office, called the cell phone... left messages and never received a call back. Even if you are busy, just take ONE minute to call and say you can't accept new business. First impressions say a lot.

Todd did an excellent installation job for a brand new Raypack cupra-nickel natural gas heater. I purchased the heater through Todd's pool service with installation and the total cost was less than some companies charge for just the heater.  I have used Todd to open and close my pool for about 5 years and am very happy with his service and professionalism.

I ordered a pool liner on the internet. Saved a bunch until I found out the liner was not a good fit. Todd did not hold it against me that I bought my liner on the internet nor did he rub it in my face. He supplied his liner for a fair price and installed it and changed the way it was secured. This was done to save me money in the future and make changing the liner much easier. I wish more business people would be as kind.

I spoke to Todd on 5/30/2013, he informed me he would be able to look at my pool on 6/4/2013. I spoke to Todd on 6/3/2013 to confirm a time and he told me he would be at my house after 3:00pm. I left work early to accommodate. Called Todd at 6:30 pm no answer. Again at 7:30 pm no answerer. Left him a message to call me back but never heard from him.

Todd's is an awesome company. I've never felt more confident in a company than I do with Todd's. He's such a nice guy and has always helped me with any issues that have come up. I can email Todd with a question or problem and he is quick to respond. I'm happy to say I will continue using this company for all my problems and opening and closings.

After he left, we had some issues -- our salt cell didn't seem to be working properly, the pool had "ring around the collar," etc. Todd answered a couple of e-mails, basically saying we'd have to deal with the people who built the pool, which made sense since all of the equipment is basically brand new. But when it came to general questions and follow-up on stuff we had discussed, like getting salt from him, and getting another set of filters from him, he just disappeared. For a couple of weeks, he simply disappeared. We heard absolutely nothing. I called him last week and left a message asking if he had decided he didn't want to work with us and never heard a thing from him. I certainly hope he's OK, and since I can only assume that he is, I decided to submit this review. I have no idea why he stopped responding to us, so I can only assume he didn't want to work with us/our pool. I wish I knew. It's too bad, because we would really prefer to deal with an independent businessman who isn't trying to nickle and dime the customer every time you turn around. What he did for us seemed fine, but the fact that he dropped off the face of the planet is troubling, especially because I had e-mailed and called and tried to find out what was up.

Todd and his assistant closed both my neighbor's pool and my pool in one morning. They were very prompt and pleasant to work with. I am a new new pool owner, so Todd took the time to explain what he was doing and answer questions. He gave me detailed advice on how to clean my filters so they would be ready when we open the pool next Spring. The closing work was done for the price quoted ($300) and one spring on the cover needed replacing for only $14. There were no surprises or markups, they did excellent work.
