Bruce was very nice and very professional.  He sat down and listened to my issues.  He did an inspection of the work that needed to be performed and then wrote an immediate estimate and began the work.  The nice thing about Tim Kyle is that they work on a Firm Fixed Price scheme, which means they do not charge by the hour.  I was very pleased with the work done.  They also offer free safety inspections, lifetime labor guarantee and a three year guarantee on parts.

Ryan was the rep sent to our home. 100% professional. 100% knowledgeable. Called back in a timely manner
and was on time ! Wore protective shoe coverings and explained things clearly. Did exactly what he said he was
going to and double checked some things on his own to make sure they were right. Because of his work we
would call Tim Kyle Electric back to our home in the future hands down. It is always nice to feel like you have
found a trustworthy vendor to work in your home. A+ Experience.

This was a big job.  It took most of the day.  He did a great job putting in new wiring for the washer and dryer.  I would definitely use them again.

Abridged version since Im on my IPad. i was having significant electrical problems with potential serious consequences. I called for emergency service and was able to talk to someone late Friday night. We arranged for service early Saturday morning. Lee arrived. He was punctual, polite, knowledgable, and friendly. Lee set an Excellent first impression representing his Company well.

They were extremely prompt.  They were just very concerned about our needs.  We were laughing because they come in and wear the footies to protect the floor.  We have dogs and so there was dog hair all over the place.  We told them they did not have to wear them but they said it was their policy.  They were absolutely excellent in everything that they did and they kind of helped us save money.  They came up with some ideas, because one of the things that we had discussed easily could have exploded in price.  It was bringing in heavy equipment to do something outside just for the lamp post.  They came up with something else and it didn’t cost even a tenth of the price of bringing the heavy equipment.  So we were very much appreciative of that.  We will absolutely use them again in the future.  They have one of those service agreements where if we pay them a certain amount, they will come right out any time when we need them.  It’s like peace of mind for us.

We moved to Texas before we were able to sell our home in Maryland. When we finally got a contract on our house, the buyer requested that we make some repairs to the electrical system before settlement. We contacted Tim Kyle Electric because we had used them previously while we still lived in Maryland. We spoke with Ryan Kyle and he agreed to go take a look at the problem and gave us an estimate within a few days. He agreed to do the work and send us a bill upon completion. The work was done a few days later, well before our settlement date.  Dispite the fact that we lived 1500 miles away, we we able get the necessary repairs made in a limited amount of time.  We thank Ryan Kyle for helping us accomplish this.

The only criticism that I had that $1100 was a lot of money to pay for the installation of two light fixtures in the basement, one of which I supplied & troubleshooting the exterior.  Then he removed an electrical line that was outside the house and hooked to the house.  I didn't get competitive bids on the work, so I might have had 5 people come in and all 5 would have charged me the same amount.  The work was done well.  It was done timely and courteously.  It was very professionally done.  I selected him because I was aware of the quality work he did.  I will give him high ratings for what was done.  He was there for 4 hours.  He doesn't come and work by the hour.  He would just come in, look over the work and give the estimate.  If one accepts the estimate, then one sign and if doesn't then they will have to pay a house call charge, which $75 something like that and that will be my only complaint.  If I had 3 or 4 other electrical contractors out there then I am sure they would do the same things.  He was excellent.  It was the son who did the work and he was very courteous.  He made sure what the drill was.  He was in the uniform.  He looked neat and clean.  He was very professional.  The price was high.  I will talk a little more succinctly about the price.

When I called the office I had a specific task in mind - to replace a 50Amp breaker. The young lady that answered the phone was very polite but it was obvious that she was working from a script and was asking very generic questions. When I provided details regarding the type of breaker that was needed she stated repeatedly that their trucks carry a large variety of parts. I requested that she take down the information anyway and she did. Ryan (service manager) called back later that day and requested more information regarding the breaker. He wanted to make sure that the electrician had the correct breaker when he arrived. Bruce (electrician) arrived right on time and discussed the problem. He said that the company offers a free (included with the service call) electrical inspection of the house. He inspected the electrical box and tightened all of the breaker connections. He also discovered that one of my GFI outlets was not working properly. He offered to replace but I declined and replaced it myself. Bruce replaced the 50 AMP GFI breaker as requested and stayed several minutes to make sure everything was working properly. I felt very comfortable with his abilities. He even put on shoe covers every time he entered the house. I would definitely use Tim Kyle again.

They were punctual, neat, pleasant, clean and did a good job. They were professional. They price by the job.  They will give you an estimate in advance.

This was a second experience with Scott. The first experience was during the summer months when he fixed a sparking outlet. This occurred during electrical storms. He found the sources and replaced two outlets and this has taken care of the problem. This time I had a post light and a garage light that weren't functioning. He removed the post light top only to find out that the heads were filled with bugs as well as the top and bottom of the light. While I cleaned the light of wasp nests, moths, ants etc. he worked on the garage light and actually found another circuit that was faulty and replaced that and another one hooked into it that was improperly wired. By that time, I had finished with cleaning the post light and when we hooked it up, all worked properly. He also did an estimate for a wall heater for me. Working with the Tim Kyle team is always enjoyable. They are always professionally equipped to do electrical work, are clean and polite and clean up the areas they work at. I will continue to call them in the future for any of my electrical needs.

Ryan Kyle came out and went through the house trying to figure out where the problem was and gave me an upfront quote. He found one incidental GFI that was not working but was unrelated to the shed problem. Ryan gave me an upfront estimate of costs, warranties associated with the work and also did an electrical safety inspection. I was made aware of new codes and what would need to be replaced in terms of my smoke detectors in 2013 because of the age when my house was built. The problem was a tripped ground fault interrupter that we had missed in our many times of looking! However, there were some incidental repairs that Ryan detected and were resolved and I feel comfortable now that all of our electricity is working properly. We've done business with Tim Kyle Electric for 10 years now. I will continue to do business with them because they are a quality organization. Because I was an Angie's List member, I also received a discount on my services.

He was good. He was very professional. He knew what he was doing and got the work done quickly. He was polite. I'm very happy with them. I would definitely use him in the future.

I was having a new dryer delivered and discovered that the outlet box had corroded and come off the wall. I called a different electrician who did not return my call. Finally, with only 3 hours remaining until my dryer was delivered, I called Tim Kyle Electric. They understood my need and told me they would have someone call me about 30 minutes prior to arrival (I needed to get home from work to meet them). Sure enough, I received a call when the gentleman was 30 minutes away. I arrived home about 5 minutes before they pulled in the driveway. They were very professional. He assessed the situation, noted the other 2 outlet boxes with problems in the same area, and started right to work. He had the outlet boxes replaced and remounted in about 10 minutes. When I called, I asked if they could look at a switch in the kitchen which had stopped working. I was told they could look, but probably would not have time to repair. Which was OK by me. So they looked at the switch and decided that they could fix it quickly. They made the necessary repair in less than 5 minutes. They were very efficient and professional.

This contractor has performed many jobs for us during the last five years. They are always responsive and the work is quality and on time. The work site is left clean and neat.
