The technician was very courteous and professional, answered all my questions, and did the repair work quickly and effectively.

Installation proceeded without a problem and was completed in slightly over 4 hours as estimated. The scope of the process was explained before hand by the installer and agreed with that of the estimator. The work site was left in pristine condition. Our garage is on the ground floor and the new door keeps our unheated garage amazingly warm; it goes without saying that the door's exterior appearance is a vast improvement. My wife and I couldn't be happier with Mount Garage Door's work.

Brief snafu on installation day when discovered that the wrong color was specified by the company on the order (was correct on original paperwork), but they managed to make it right very quickly (procured Clopay doors that morning in place of the CHI doors originally ordered). Very responsive to my follow-up query - Henry came back out to help me program the keypad and replace a back hang (bracket) that we had hoped we could reuse but was shaking too much. He explained how everything worked and what to do re the yearly maintenance. The doors are working very well.

It was very easy to do business with them.  I called on Monday about my garage door falling.  I described the situation over the phone.  They knew exactly what needed to be done.  The very nice woman on the phone told me someone would be out the next morning around 8:45.  He arrived around 8:30, wearing a Mount Garage Doors shirt so I knew it was them.  The technician was very nice. He quickly assessed the situation and told me the exact same price as I was given over the phone.  He fixed the door, checked all the safety features, and made sure the garage door opener still worked properly.  He was finished in 1 hour and I am very pleased with every aspect of their service.
Also, they are electronic.  They finish out the invoice on an iPad and e-mail it to you.  As I said, very easy business transaction.

Very well. They came out right away after a scheduling miscue. The owner himself and an assistant did the installation. Worked around my garage mess, replaced all rails, hardware, door, etc. Provided 3 remote controls.Highly recommended.

I am very happy with my new garage door opener! It is smooth and quiet and easy to use. The installer was very efficient and provided great service and educated me on the system. He also adjusted the door so it fits properly after recent changes to the floor, and he added a new rubber seal at the bottom to keep out rain, wind and debris.

We were looking for two new garage doors and stumbled upon the Mount folks by just looking in the local directory - glad we did because we were getting discouraged and here's why. The garage door industry has a number of large manufacturers but most of them sell through large vendors - costco, big box stores, Many of the products are mediocre at best and these outfits as well all know are hard to deal with if you're interested in speaking with knowledgeable folks (none of these folks know anything about the product they're selling!) before you dump a lot of money on garage doors and openers. Not the case with the Mount garage door company. Dave and Julie are very knowledgeable and treat the customer very politely, never pressuring you, very patient in answering endless questions, following up when they say they will (how novel!). In short, these guys have figured it out: be honest, be fair, do good work and show up on time, treat the customer well and they come back and then tell their friends. When the Mounts are done with this business, they can go into teaching - explaining to folks how to run a good business!

Installers very professional and cleaned up. Sommer openers are expensive (german made) - but incredibly quiet, way better than the other stuff on the market - you get what you pay for. Same with CHI, a small Midwestern company but a quality door.

This was a positive experience. The owner arrived as scheduled, spent time discussing all of our options and related costs, then gave us an estimate that we approved and we immediately signed a contract. The price was reasonable and in line with our research. We decided to upgrade to the best Liftmaster garage door opener and are sooo glad we did. The unit is whisper quiet and has various programming options. It's nice too, to have an outside key pad, something we were missing with our original, outdated unit. Garage door is beautiful, plus we no longer have to duck our head when entering garage through side door, as Dave advised us we could have the tracks raised to prevent this issue ( a nominal fee increase). Work was begun and completed in an afternoon.

Excellent job. Replaced garage door and tracks. Cleaned up and adjusted door. Were completely done with the job in 3.5 hours. Impressed.

The tension spring broke while away. Tried to open door woth remote and watched as the opener bent the two sections of the door. Called Mount the following morning, responded by 11 AM lifted the damaged door to get my cars out. Gave me a estimate for the door only at the time (added the lift later). Mr. Mount indicated the lift tension safety adjustment of the present opener was wrong and damaged the door. If I might add, my previous replacement door was purchased from a WELL known home improvement store over 10 years ago (BIG MISTAKE). It was not installed properly from the beginning buy the sub contractor 30 miles away.
Mount installed my new door and lift about two weeks after agreeing to the estimate. I was very glade to see they used all new hardware (previous contractor did not), replaced all the brackets for the door and lift (previous contractor did not).
The installer went over EVERTHING and the features of the new opener, including the battery backup. The only issue (not Mounts problem) was the Homelink in one of the cars would not work, due to security code freqency changes. That was solved when I called Homelink, they sent me a repeater free.
Will call Mount Garage Door in a years time for preventive maintenance. Highly recomendend.

Can't say enough positive about the service etc. We used them to put up a garage door motor in our previous home and they have been terrific service vendors ever since.
Not only would we use them again, we are delighted to know that they are valued members of our community.

Great experience from quote to install...

I called Mount Garage Doors at 8am when my garage door wouldn't open. They set up an appointment for 1:30p that same day because someone was going to be in my area. At 1:30p, my doorbell rang and there they were. They replaced my broken spring, checked the motor and performed general maintenance. The technicians explained everything they were doing before they did it and fully reviewed the work after they were done. It was an excellent experience.

Our garage door wouldn't close properly so we called Mount Garage Doors to have them evaluate the issues and provide us
with a solution. The first call we made to them was after hours and we left a message. A couple days went by without a response so we called again during business hours and received a call back within 30 minutes. They were very apologetic for not returning the initial call, and that was the only thing I could say was remotely negative during the entire transaction. I mention it only to maintain the integrity of Angie's List. Although they were able to come out the following day, we scheduled a day later that week that was more
convenient for me. David came right on time and inspected the garage door and closing mechanism. He attributed the issue to a single piece malfunctioning in the closing mechanism. His hopes to fix the single piece to save us money were not possible due to the age of the closing mechanism and the manufacturer no longer being in business. We were expecting a replacement when we called, so this was no surprise. David then presented us with a folder that contained several quality options to solve the problem, and most of them were less than we were expecting, and not much more than it would have cost for me to do it myself. I wanted to do just a bit more research prior to making a decision and there couldn't have been less pressure from David.
I called him early the following week to arrange for them to do the work, and was told they could come out the next day. My wife was there for the installation, so I only got to see the finished work. It exceeded my expectations as they also replaced my old wall mounted openers and the motion sensors (remember, we had an old opener that had none of this) make walking into a dark garage at night much easier. One other thing that I really appreciated about David was the fact that he took plenty of time to talk with
me about the problem, the process and answer questions that certainly lead to him making less money. We have wooden garage doors that are 35 years old. I asked him if it was worth considering replacing them. As part of his detailed explanation of pros and cons, he said the wooden doors will stand up much better to high winds and balls hitting them than the new ones. We do get big
gusts of wind, and my son plays lacrosse and several balls have bounced off the wooden doors without leaving a mark. We opted to keep what we have, but when the time comes to replace them or have any other work done on our garage doors, we will be calling David and Mount Garage Doors. Great people, great company!

The owner of the company gave us thurough information on all options available and discussed the best options to serve our needs. He was helpful, curteous and patiently answered all of our questions. The doors and openers were ordered within a few days and we were called promptly to schedule an install day. The gentleman who performed the install was prompt, professional and extremely tidy. He worked alone installing 2 doors and the other accessories and was finished within 6 hours! He patiently explained the care and operation of the doors. He was polite and very professional. The doors work like a dream, keep our garage warmer in the winter and are extrememly quiet. I highly recommend this company and the quality products they offer!
