Very well. From scheduling, to our meeting, we were very impressed. We are eager to see the plans that Moses and Maureen come up with.

From the first meeting with Moses I knew we were in good hands. Everyone at Merrell is stellar, from Moses on down the line. The fact that this team has worked together for so long speaks volumes, and the quality of their workmanship can't be topped. They always had a creative solution to the inevitable "surprises" that come up, and they were infinitely patient with my questions and suggestions. They were a pleasure to have in our home and we can't recommend them highly enough.

They were diligent - showed a desire to get it done right rather than just getting it done.

Everyone involved in the work was professional, friendly, eager to please, polite and efficient, and the materials used were as top quality as the work done. We really appreciated the way they were willing to go the extra mile to please us. Working with Moses Merrell was an excellent experience.  The workers
were knowledgeable and the work was performed quickly and
professionally.  The quality was excellent and the house looks greatly
improved due to their work.  The cost was very competitive, but that did
not result in any reduced quality.  Highly recommend this company for
any such remodeling work.

This 2 week project was delayed several weeks due to several errors involving the installation of the shower stall. The owner and salesman both measured the prior shower stall and noted its length was 3" short of a standard 60" shower pan. However, they stated they thought it would fit once the old walls were demolished. Apparently, when the worker tried to install the 60" pan he could not make it fit. We received a call from the salesman suggesting we use the next standard size shower pan of 48" and add a bumpout to the shower wall. However, we found a custom sized Swanstone shower pan of 54" on the internet and requested they order that size instead, rather than lose so much space in the shower. Merrell agreed to order that size, however, progress had to stop for more than a week until it arrived. When it did arrive they came out and set it in place, but apparently did not read the installation directions which stated "Do Not Use Nails". They did use nails and created small cracks in the flange of the pan which we noticed and feared that once in use, the cracks would spread to the base. We asked them to get a new pan, and they agreed. Fortunately, we were not in a hurry because it delayed us another week plus. The rest of the job went smoothly and the tile looks great! The tile guy really made it look nice. The final result would have received an A+ if not for their miscalculation with the shower pan and the lack of familiarity with installing a Swanstone pan. We lost total confidence in them early in the remodel.

They do what they say they will do and charge what they say they will charge. They are also pretty timely. They are a good company.

My general contractor, Jim Cabrall, was so easy to work with. He was actually the very first contractor to initially contact me and quote the job. Once we decided to choose Merrell, Jim was always very responsive to my requests and any changes or questions I had, either via phone or email. All of the people who worked on our house were very friendly and accommodating, as well. When my husband and I had specific questions or requests of them, they addressed all of them. All in all, Merrell followed through with the job from start to finish so that it was completed on time and on budget. We are both very happy with the work they did and would recommend them highly.
