We love Maryland Mobile Vets! At first we had Dr. Powell, but lately we've seen Dr. Raab. Both are excellent veterinarians. Their practice is perfect for a family like ours. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats, and I work from home. An animal-loving friend with a dozen cats recommended them, and I cannot begin to say how thankful I am for this.
They are very knowledgable, convenient, and a great deal. While you do have to pay a fee for their visit, the costs are actually less expensive than a brick and mortar vet?especially when they are visiting more than one animal.
It's also a lot easier and less stressful preparing for their visit. We put our cats in a carrier 15 minutes before the come over (otherwise the cats know to hide). When we had a dog who had congestive heart failure, it was a blessing as we wanted to do everything possible to keep his stress levels down.
Other things we love about them include the fact they don't push unnecessary products/procedures as other vets do (dog/cat food, fluoride treatments, etc...). The only issue is you have to visit another vet to get surgery or dental work done. This may change soon as they are supposed to open a brick & mortar location up (I believe Unionsville?).
We are very happy to have found them!

She and her assistant handled our cats with care and were very professional and friendly. Our cats dislike being in the car, so her mobile service is perfect. Her prices were very reasonable and she didn't push any unnecessary services. We would definitely recommend her and will use her again.

Ty is very friendly until someone starts trying to examine him or give him shots. Dr. Powel put up with all his shenanigans and was able to do everything but take blood (he screamed, wiggled, would not stay still long enough for her to get the needle into his vein). She recommended a flea preventive to help stop Ty's constant licking and scratching. We also obtained medication for his ear infections and heartworm preventive. Both Dr. Powel and her vet tech were very professional yet had a sense of humor and common sense that were certainly needed to deal with this drama queen dog!

We LOVE Dr. Nancy. She is like family to us and our dogs. My beagle/corgi mix, Nelson, is a shelter rescue who was thrown out of a car as a puppy. Still traumatized by that Nancy's mobile vet service is a life saver. We have a pekingese named Gizzy saved from the puppy mills and from the aftermath of Katrina. Nancy is helpful to us problem solving anytime she has a problem. Our other pekinese is 13 with a late stage heart murmur and now a cancer survivor. Nancy and our vet specialists work together seamlessly to ensure Grizzly receives only the best care. Dr. Nancy is always loving, caring, and completely professional. And she comes ot the house. What more could you want?

I have 2 large German Shepherds. Dr. Nancy has been our vet for over 6 years. She performs her services in your driveway inside her mobile clinic. She performs vaccinations, tests, and prevention supplies. Both dogs got all of their shots, their Advantix, and heartworm meds, and we didn't leave the house! She is FANTASTIC and much cheaper than any other vet I have used.

Scheduling was somewhat difficult, and pre-visit coordination: getting the right form to the vet via my transportation company was time-consuming but not difficult (there was a problem with the FDA documentation website that was coincidental but still irritating). Nancy (the vet) worked with my transportation company to ensure that she had the right form and knew how to fill it out with the right information prior scheduling the visit.

Logistical issue with vet certification of animals for transportation is that the animal must be certified within 10 days of transport, so Nancy worked with me and the transport company to ensure that her visit would be useful to the overall logistics of the move.

The visit itself was convenient and Nancy and her tech handled Fez (my cat) very well, including a claw trimming as part of the service (making it easier to handle the cat when the time came to put her in a carrier).

There were no problems with the visit or with the health certificate Nancy provided.

Also, the curb-side visit in the clinically outfitted van is extremely convenient, especially for those of us with cats who do not respond well to long car trips (or even short ones). You can even carry the animal out to the van by hand if it doesn't like carriers.

Dr Powell visits the house by appointment in her mobile clinic. She is thoughtful and caring...not too quick to over treat, but will let you know all options. I highly recommend her practice.
