They are very knowledgable, convenient, and a great deal. While you do have to pay a fee for their visit, the costs are actually less expensive than a brick and mortar vet?especially when they are visiting more than one animal.
It's also a lot easier and less stressful preparing for their visit. We put our cats in a carrier 15 minutes before the come over (otherwise the cats know to hide). When we had a dog who had congestive heart failure, it was a blessing as we wanted to do everything possible to keep his stress levels down.
Other things we love about them include the fact they don't push unnecessary products/procedures as other vets do (dog/cat food, fluoride treatments, etc...). The only issue is you have to visit another vet to get surgery or dental work done. This may change soon as they are supposed to open a brick & mortar location up (I believe Unionsville?).
We are very happy to have found them!
Logistical issue with vet certification of animals for transportation is that the animal must be certified within 10 days of transport, so Nancy worked with me and the transport company to ensure that her visit would be useful to the overall logistics of the move.
The visit itself was convenient and Nancy and her tech handled Fez (my cat) very well, including a claw trimming as part of the service (making it easier to handle the cat when the time came to put her in a carrier).
There were no problems with the visit or with the health certificate Nancy provided.
Also, the curb-side visit in the clinically outfitted van is extremely convenient, especially for those of us with cats who do not respond well to long car trips (or even short ones). You can even carry the animal out to the van by hand if it doesn't like carriers.
