Finch was supposed to come on site in the morning, and perform routine service on my John Deere lawn tractor. Mid afternoon, I had waited enough and needed to leave for an appointment. A technician pulled up just as I was leaving, and indicated that he had received no special instructions about the morning. Since I make ALL home appointments based around Monday mornings (I work from home that day), I indicated that while I appreciated him showing up but I had other obligations. He couldn't take the tractor and bill me unless I left a credit card on file. Since I wouldn't pay for services in advance, we were at an impasse, and I indicated I would look elsewhere for help. Given the tech tried to work within the boundaries he was allowed, I'll give him credit for being professional and keeping his cool. But I am tired of service teams that can't meet schedule commitments...
