They were supposed to send me proposals for additional work that needed to be done, but nobody ever contacted me. I was waiting to be contacted, but no one ever contacted me. The work that they did was fine. For the gutter cleaning, they did what they were supposed to do. There were issues with the gutter that they were supposed to come back and fix. He was on time. He was professional, but he was supposed to take information back to the office and then call me with an estimate.

They spent enough time in the roof and did some caulking work. gave me an estimated remaining life of my roof and went over everything they did. I wish they spent some more time checking the attic though. it was just looking inside and saying everything looks good. maybe this is the standard, I don't know.

It was kind of quick. I'm not sure if he did like a full sweep on everything and what he did is he referred somebody to come back out look at my back roof. Somebody was supposed to follow up the pricing and everything for roof and they said the roof needed to be replaced and I have little work for the back and he never did.

There was angies list special for gutter servicing and tuning offered in spring of 15, which I prepurchased. I completed all of the contact info and requested service asap. After several weeks of no contact, I called and left messages several times. No call back was recieved. Finally we got a hold of a person and was informed we should have called to schedule service. Fine, I wanted something done for my money, and requested scheduling. Well, they were very busy and had an opening in 3 months so we set an appointment for September, and all decision makers had to be present. Code for incoming upsell, but again I wanted something done for my money so we agreed. In 3 months schedules do change and my wife was out of town on the anticipated date so we called and tried to reschedule for the next day, but we're again informed they were busy and the next available date was in 3 months. At this point, fine you win, keep my money, I'm done with trying to get this company to perform work in a reasonable amount of time. If this is an Angies list special, I'm pretty well done with Angies List as well.

Hunter and his assistant trainee, Shelby, showed up promptly at 9:00 a.m. and, after explaining what they were going to do, went right to work. They inspected the roof and made small repairs where necessary. Afterwards, Hunter showed me photos of the roof and explained exactly what he saw while going over a written report and checklist. They did a great job and I was left with peace of mind that everything was in good order.

Everything went great. They arrived on time, serviced the roof well, and went above and beyond what I expected. I would highly recommend this service.

The guy came and cleaned the gutters using a leaf blower, and showed us before and after videos to demonstrate what he had done. They were clogged before, and quite clear afterwards. The only issue was that the leaf blower made a gigantic mess, causing mud to attach itself to the exterior of our house in several places. As the guy was leaving, I had to stop him and ask him to clean up the mess. He washed some of the mud off the front (brick siding) with a hose but the patio doors in the back, for example, were still caked in mud that had not been there prior to his arrival. I've had numerous people clean our gutters, but this was the only time it's resulted in a big mess.

Multiple problems including theft. First thing I have to say, they are sweet and very, very responsive until they complete the job or there are problems. Then it is IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone to return your calls. I have placed at least 10 calls, talked to four different people. Somehow no one gets your messages, or returns you calls. They then respond by email. 1) My bubble skylight was to be replaced with a new one, nothing fancy. Without asking me, they installed a skylight in my guest bedroom/den that has a "flap" to let fresh air in, and has a string hanging down in the middle of the room for the "flap." Well, this flap for fresh air also lets all the hot air out. Therefore, the room can never get warm. The flap isn't even sealed. According to my personal contractor, this type of skylight is meant for multi-unit hallways (like apartment building common hallways, or in an attic, or bathroom ) not in a bedroom. The top of the skylight is also tin. Have you ever heard rain hit tin? And this is in my guest bedroom. They have yet to replace my skylight or even provide an estimate as to the date this work can be done, and this is over a week ago, when they finally agreed to replace the skylight. The problem is the people that did the work and ordered the skylight never saw the inside of my place, and never knew this was a guest bedroom, and the problems this type of skylight might present. (UPDATE: when they finally replaced the skylight, they did did it without my permission. That is they accessed my roof on a day I was at work without ever letting me know. I just came home to a new skylight. That seems like trespassing.) 2) They did not reattach the electrical boxes for the ac/furnace units that are on the roof after the new roof was installed. Before the units were mounted to the deck. The deck was removed by them, so these should have been remounted to wood posts with the wires facing down to protect them from the rain and elements. Instead they left them dangling, and one wire was completely unscrewed/sealed from the box. This resulted in water getting in wires which lead to a short in the electrical board. As a result, I had no heat. And I asked them if there was any chance my heating problem could be associated to the new roof because the problem started at the same time. (I thought it might be the skylight "flap" letting all the heat out which was why my place was freezing.) As of February 2016 the HVAC work has still not been done.) 3) There are three nail holes on my bedroom ceiling from them nailing the roof down, about the size of a quarter. They have yet to fix these holes. (Update: the painter, subcontractor that fixed these holes stole five bottles of prescription pain medication, jewelry (4 rings), an old iphone, and my passport. I filed a police report. Arocon cannot name the other Hispanic subcontractor they let in my home, but said they "bond and insure" everyone. They have no idea who this person is, a person they hired.) 4) They just left my direct TV dish lying on the roof. I was told this would be remounted on wood by them and there should not be a disruption of service, but I might have to have a technician come out to preposition. They never remounted the dish to anything and it cost me $50. I am filing a complaint with the home improvement commission as advised by attorney. I cannot believe I am the first person to have had such a horrible experience.

We started off playing phone tag, and then settle down to a date. The roof was in fair condition and one gutter need re-adjusting due to previous snow. A simple fix come spring.

I don't remember the exact cost. It was an Angie's List deal. The roofer was very thorough and patient. It went well. If I need roof work in the future i would call them for an estimate.

They were prompt. They were fine. They were very good. The guy seemed to be experienced, but he actually ended up giving me the wrong information. That's not good. They did not charge any more. They did not try and sell me anything. The only thing they could have done differently was to tell me the truth. They told me the boards behind the gutters were rotten and it's quite a big expense if you're going to have to repair all of that. That wasn't the case at all. The inspector that they sent out verified that that wasn't the case at all. The inspector guy was very good. They didn't charge me anything for the inspection. They left the area very clean. I liked the person who did it. He was very prompt and really nice. He was very personable.

Technician Name is Hunter Riley. He did a superb job. He took several pictures of the damaged roof shingles, exhaust vent and chimney flashing. He did fix them and took the pictures afterward. (Before and After) It was nice to see the results.

Did more work than expected. He presented a well documented case for further repair next summer. He was not pushy so I am going to get an estimate from them and a couple of other Angies list roofers.

I was super unhappy with them. We have never had any problem with the skylights, none, zero, never a leak but they had been there for about 10 years that I thought somebody had to take a look at them. He was up there one day, and the next day it rained really hard, and one of the 4 skylights in the kitchen just poured water into the kitchen. It has never, ever, ever leaked. I called them and they came out and he said there was a nail in it so it wasn't their fault, but they fixed it for me at no charge. I thought when I have to do my roof, they will be the last people I'll call. I guess with these deals, they get so many responses that sometimes it's a little hard to get them out to set up my appointment. There were no additional charges even for repairing that leak. It just seemed a little too convenient that it had leaked the day after he had been up there when it had never leaked in 13 years so I didn't believe him.

Tech came by to clean the gutters. After looking at the gutters he told me there was no debris to remove. But, he did tell me my gutters were too small for my house and they were put on incorrectly. He wanted me to arrange a free estimate with his company to replace my gutters and the $99 would go towards that. I made the appointment then canceled because I felt they were trying to scam me out of more money. I wanted a refund which the company would not give and Angieslist would not give because it took me 4 tries to finally get the company to come and it was after the 30 day guarantee. This is the second time a company could not keep an appointment for a "big deal" until after the 30 day guarantee. Lucky the other company was able to complete the job. So I am out $99.

I was told that Will Moore would be at my house between 10 am and 1 pm. He came at 10:15. He was very professional. He finished within an hour and took time to clearly explain what he found and what he did to fix it. He also talked to me about the type of roofing I have. I was very pleased and definitely would contact them again for roof work.

I never did receive the estimate, and would have disregarded it even if I had received it since they never actually looked at the property. I understand that Christmas Eve is not the optimal day to be conducting business, but when you agree to the appointment, every effort should be made to meet the agreement.

I purchased the Roof Tune up to have a small leak repaired, which was part of this service. It took approx. 7 weeks before they came out, which I understand they are busy. Their man came out, went up in my attic, stated he saw the problem. So he placed his ladder against my gutters, which the ladder scratched, got on the roof and made the repairs. He said he fixed the problem and it should not leak but did inform me that in future I will need a new roof, which I agree. They came out a week later to give an estimate. The problem came 3.5 months later when I noticed that the same spot was still leaking. So I contacted Linda in their office on December 16, 2015 and informed her of the issue. She was kind enough to make a appointment for the upcoming Saturday, 12/19/15. I informed Linda that I was going to be out of the house until approx. 2:30 - 3pm that day, Linda said that their man was working in Fallston, Md., who had an appointment there at 1pm. Fallston is about 20 mins North of my home so Linda said she would have her guy call me first on my cell to make sure I was available when he was done in Fallston. Well, I never received a call or did anyone come by the house and I made a point of getting back to my house by 2:50 pm that day. So, when 3:30 came and went I emailed Linda to see if they were going to come or were they going to reschedule. As of this review no one has made an effort to get back to me about the missed appointment. So I can only assume the $99 Roof Tune Up, a $395 value according to them, is not worth them following up. Yes I know I need a roof, its not falling apart but will need replacing in the next few years and I was told by their estimator that I should probably have the roof replaced in the next few years not months but a repair that was done less then 3.5 months ago should still be holding up. I will be getting a new roof but not from someone who does not follow up. It's a shame.

Company was very responsive and found the problem immediately, scheduled the repair and came out quickly to do the work.

Did not proceed with the job but plan to call them back!

and Jason did a great job. He showed us pictures of the cleaned gutters, identified and repaired 2 gutter/downspout problems. and made sure all leaves were blown to the curb for municipal pickup.

I am selling my home and needed a few repairs to my roof. I called several roofing companies and even bought a "deal" on Angie's list for $40.00 more than Arocon's price only to find out they could not accommodate my time frame. I am so very glad I called Arocon. They responded immediately and even came earlier in the week due to the weather forecast just to make sure they could meet my timeline. I will remember them when it comes to replacing the roof on the home I am buying. Thank you Will!!
