AROCON Roofing & Construction

Appointment was made 3 weeks prior to job. Arocon e-mailed a reminder several days before crew was to arrive on site. Communications with all concerned at Arocon was professionally efficient. Crew, (Will and Hunter), phoned to advise they would arrive on the early side of the appointment window. Too many excellent vibes to document here, so we share these primary, personal observations.... Courteous, Professional, Interactive Service, process and results exceeded the widest parameters of our expectations. Thank you.

Very Professional, did the work in 25 minutes front and back and took pictures and sent them via email same day.

I thought it went well until a neighbor pointed out: the person who "treated" the chimney, did so to a chimney that was not and is not being used (center of the roof) now for years. In other words, I paid for something that made no sense. The furnace is not in that area. I wrote to Arocon via Angieslist about this and the manager came out to see it and gave me a partial refund. I thought that was good business!

Purchased a deal through Angie's List. Gutters cleaned with some sealing. Hunter was professional and knowledgeable, would certainly use again.

Scheduling the appointment was easy and effortless, and they were able to send a tech out pretty quickly. The tech, Will Moore, came out and performed the services as expected. He was very thorough and showed before/after pictures of all the work that he did. He was also very straight forward and informative about any concerns that I should have about my roof. He was very knowledgeable and was able to explain thing clearly. Will worked very quickly and addressed all of my questions. Overall, I am very pleased with the professionalism, quality of the work, and experience that I had with this company.

Once I purchased the Gutter Tune-Up deal through Angie's List, Arocon immediately contacted me to set up a time. Will Moore was punctual, diligent, and professional the entire time he was here. Will provided us with a detailed report of the inspection and tuneup. He answered all our our questions in detail and provided us with his honest feedback and recommendations. In addition to cleaning the gutters, he refastened the gutters that were pulling away from the house, inspected the attic and soffits as well as the roof. We are entirely happy with the professionalism and due diligence Will provided and highly recommend the use of this company.

Will Moore was great. He was on time and professional. He took pictures of the roof and told me where the problems were and what needs to be done. He also sealed all the vents for me. I would definitely use them in the future.

Fantastic! They were right on time (and budget!) from start to finish. They showed up when they said they would, gave a very competitive estimate, started on time and finished on time. The roof looks great! Their communication and follow up was fantastic. This isn't exaggeration: the best roofer in Baltimore by far (I've used three others over the years). You can't go wrong with Arocon!! I wish I could give them an A+ on Angie's List, not just an A!!

Will (the technician) came to my house on time, did an excellent job cleaning the gutters and pointing out things I needed to address soon - and things to keep an eye on for the future. He was very polite, knowledgeable, considerate. I was extremely happy with the work done and will purchase this deal again next year. And when I do need to replace my roof I will not hesitate to contact this company.

Let the professionals take care of the dirty work for less! " The company called promptly and set a day and time. The technician arrived on time. Took out a ladder and proceeded to blow the dust off the top of the gutter guards. We were understood that they do not remove gutter guards when cleaning gutters and we did not expect it. We have had the gutters cleaned before without removing the guards. We asked him if that was it. He said yes and left. There was no inspection, no gutter tuneup and certainly no gutter cleaning. We called the Arocon office and were curtly told to contact Angie's list if we were unhappy with the service. We did.

He did not inspect the gutters. All he did is blow the dust off the gutter guards.

My gutter cleaning on my new house went really well. The technician (Hunter) was great, he cleaned them quickly and reattached the gutters everywhere - unsurprisingly every gutter was loose. The previous owner did very little maintenance. The tech also cut back a shrub that was sitting in my gutter, which was pulling down the gutter quite a bit. He also provided a roofing inspection with photos, showing that my roof actually wasn't in bad shape. Good contractors are hard to find, so I'll be returning to Arocon in the future!

Will Moore arrived on time and equipped for the job. He explained what he was going to do and how he would proceed. Excellent communications skills. The job went smoothly and was well worth the the money. What more can be said? With my roof being in excess of 20 years old, I have decided to get an estimate from AROCON for any needed repairs.

Will Moore was prompt, very friendly and explained to me each thing he did. He also made suggestions as to what I needed to do. He was very professional. If I ever need roof work done I will definitely use this company again, and I will request Will Moore be the one to do the work. I am completely satisfied with the service I received.

Hunter showed up exactly on time and had the gutters on our two-story home cleared within about 25 minutes. Afterward, he walked me through the results of his inspection of the roof, gutters, and related systems (eaves, vents, etc.). He showed me pictures of issues that he had flagged for future maintenance and was specific in his explanations. He was clear that while there are some issues that will need eventual attention, none were immediate in nature. He told me that if there were any repairs I wanted to make in the near term, that they could be quickly scheduled and would be reasonably priced. There was no pressure for me to purchase any additional services. I appreciated Hunter's direct and professional approach to his job.

They fixed a number of small issues on the roof. The tune-up cost was worth the price. Technician was friendly and knowledgeable. The company was able to send an estimator to look at additional recommended work that same day.

Hunter was extremely knowledgeable. After climbing up, he fixed the gutter that had broken, he then climbed on the roof, inspected it and the gutters, cleaned and documented the status. Then he checked out my barn roof (not part of the original call) explained why it was leaking and gave me a sealant to repair myself. so easy! Hunter again is very personable and helpful, I would recommend Arocon to neighbors.

I set up the appointment for the estimate easily. Linda was supposed to call and confirm the appointment - but never did. I called when nobody showed up, and they said Linda was supposed to call, but she was out of the office and would call me the next day. Apparently the roofer was held up at another job. No call. I called two business days later, and Linda never got the message. She handled the situation well and sent the roofer to my house to look at the outside while I was at work and said the estimate would be sent to me shortly. I responded one week later inquiring about the estimate that never came...and got no response. They have great reviews so I tried to give them a second chance, but they didn't deliver the second time around either.

I purchased a "deal" for gutter cleaning for $99. As soon as I purchased the "deal" an AROCON representative immediately contacted me to set up an appointment. The "deal" was completely explained and an appointment was set up for the same week...... AROCON called the day prior to the appointment to confirm the time, date and the name of the individual that would be conducting the work at my home., AROCON also called the morning of the appointment to confirm again. The representative arrived timely, and was extremely professional. He explained what he did and any items that may need to be addressed. I was even supplied with pictures of the gutters (before and after), the shingles, and vents. WOW...what a deal...all for $99.00.....I love Angie's list!
