+ -1 moreI would never take a vehicle to Wiygul. I have lost all trust in them. Either they were dishonest about the frame and just tried to jab me for money, or they are incompetent.
Description of Work: We had taken our Hyundai Sonata to Wiygul because another mechanic had told us the frame of the car was nearly broken and he was unable to repair it. It also needed a catalytic converter. I explained that if the frame was indeed nearly broken and dangerous to drive (as the other mechanic had told us) that I did not want the repairs completed. Wiygul told us there was nothing wrong with the frame, that it was a uni-body vehicle, and it would not rust. Based on the fact that they said the frame was fine, I approved the installation of the catalytic converter ($1,426.32). Now, several months later when the car is pulling to the right and we take it to Wiygul they are saying the frame is broken and estimated the cost to repair to be $1,900. When they told me this, I referenced them back to when they told me the frame was fine. They told me that they had no way of knowing that the frame was damaged 8 months ago. I again reminded them that we had had a conversation about this. The mileage on the car when I took it in for the catalytic converter was 260,772. At the time the frame broke, it was 262,266 (about 1,500 miles). Thankful that I (or one of my children) were not driving at a high speed when it broke, otherwise someone could have been seriously injured (or worse).

Description of Work: They had a totally incorrect diagnostic and where trying to get more work performed on my vehicle than was necessary. I'll never return to Wiygul. This facility took a complete turn around when the previous owner sold business to the Wiygul family.

Description of Work: They tried to oversell a repair sugggesting I needed services that were not needed. I got the repair done for $50 at anotheeeer transmission service station. This was not the first incident of over selling I encountered with Wigul and I would not recommend them to anyone.

+ 0 moreThey replaced the tires and I didn't have an issue with that. They could have replaced the one I identified that I wanted replaced. One absolutely had to be replaced because it was faulty. There were other two and I only wanted to replace two and they replaced the wrong tire. The one I identified I wanted replaced didn't get replaced. I haven't had the time to go back and try to rectify it so I don't know what their response would be. I would probably use them again.

+ -1 moreWe had very good service from Goodyear. I've been there for several years in the past which had good service. I don't really know about the new company but I have a feeling that it's going to be the same. I;m sure it's the same place. I know that the people that I was going to and talking with, they said that they had been sold and turned over. I have been back there since they were sold and I don't even know the difference. I have always like the service that we had there. I think they did very good. I've been satisfied with it and my son goes there too. I tell all my family members to go there. They've been very nice, polite and kind, just what you would like to have when you come and deal with somebody. The length of time that they say, that's what they do it on. We've always had good service all the way around with them.
