Nick arrived promptly. He throughly looked at and diagnosed problem. He explained what the problem was and said he would order the necessary parts. He returned the next day and completed the repair. Nick was very nice and polite and conducted himself in a very professional manner! We have used Genevie Plumbers for all our plumbing needs for over 28 years and have always been totally satisfied with their work! We highly recommend them.

The service was performed in a timely and professional manner. The plumber was here for 10 minutes. The flapper now works fine. It took him 5 minutes for flapper repair. It took 5 minutes to receive bill and submit plumber a check for final payment. The bill consisted of service charge of $150 plus $74 for 2 new flappers. Home Depot charges $12 for 1 flapper. I have another flapper for future use so only service charge will be needed. Hopefully the service charge will not increase.

We had someone come out and take a look at the leak we had and he attempted to fix it, but it did not work. The leak is still happening. The gentleman that came out didn't seem like he wanted to be bothered with the repair and was more concerned about his son helping him out than doing a thorough job of testing if the leak was properly fix. I told him that the leak does not occur when a shower is taken, but only when the bath tub is full. He assured me that the fix he provided would do the trick, but as it did not work. Do not request a quote/estimate from them. They will charge you $95 and not do any work and leave. Then they will come back and charge you $150+/hr or a flat rate (their choice) for their services. Their work is not guaranteed and will charge again and again for each visit.

"When an estimate request comes in to Genevie Plumbing the office staff does their best to verify details about the job, so when our technicians are dispatched they can provide the best options to address your service needs. The technician is ONLY responsible for the review of the problem and to provide information needed as well as the cost. As stated Genevie's technician did address an improper installation of the overflow at the bathtub leak location and proceeded to troubleshoot. After doing so the technician found there to be no leak present. This was all completed at the time of the estimate at the $95.00 estimate cost which was quoted to you by our office staff at the time of scheduling. Generally any repairs that require tools or labor beyond the review for the estimate would have been billed as a normal service call at $150.00 per hour plus material used to complete the job. The technician tried to address your problem based on the troubleshooting he completed and the information you provided of the leak occurrences as fairly as possible."

Horrific! 1. They did arrive on time 2. Plumbers (two got out of vehicle) one was smoking and threw his cigarette on Church parking lot after exiting company vehicle. 3. No professional greeting at all from either one 4. The plumber who was smoking ignored a few questions I asked him 5. It literally took them less than 7 minutes to fix the one toilet that had a slow flush with a portable snake anyone could purchase at Home Depot and it took the plumbers less than 10 seconds to check on the other toilet that had no issues but I just wanted then to check it just in case. 6. Once snake was out of both toilets and bathrooms plumbers dragged the nasty dripping snake with toilet water on both bathroom floors and across the carpet and across the church lobby and vista view area. 7. The plumbers never cleaned up the spill and when I mentioned it to then they just ignored me 8. The total bill was $330 dollars. 9. I called the owner Paul and told him what I just wrote above and he went silent for a bout a minute did not say a single word. I asked are you there and he replied yes. Than another moment of silence. He NEVER apologized, showed no sympathy, and acted like he could care less. And remember, this was a church and organization that gives to the community. So How did you it go? You tell me. Stay far far Away from this company would be my recommendation to my worst enemy!

The work performed, which was the replacement of an exterior hose bib, was fine, but I was way over charged. The time spent actually on my property replacing the hose bib took just over an hour, but I was charged for a total of 2.5 hours (@ $150/hour) due to the company's policy to charge the customer for the plumber's travel (at the full rate of $150/hr) by starting the clock once the plumber leaves his previous job. On top of that, there was a $100 'ARRIVAL FEE' for the appointment. Neither the cost for travel time or arrival fee were disclosed when the appointment was made with the owner several days prior, or when the plumber arrived before the work began. What frustrated me was that I had no control over where the plumber's previous appointment was, and even before the plumber had even arrived, I was on the hook for $250!! I did contact the owner of the company to confirm the company's policy on charging travel time, and if it was true, how I witnessed the technician spend about 10 minutes smoking before coming to my door (while I was apparently on the clock). The owner said he was only responsible for booking the appointment and not what occurred during the appointment, what the plumber did with his time, or what he ended up charging for time/travel (since the owner was not actually there to witness it). He did offer to split the travel cost with me. I will not be using this company again, and recommend anyone who does use them make sure you get an agreement of their costs before setting any appointment.

IT WENT VERY WELL THEY ARRIVED AT 11:00 AM THURSDAY NOVEMBER 24, 2017, THEY FINISHED BY 11:30 AM THEY WERE IN MY HOME AROUND 1/2 HOUR. THE CHARGE TOLD TO ME ON THE PHONE $150.00 THE FIRST 1/2 HOUR ONCE THEY ARRIVE AND THEN ADDITIONAL FOR PARTS THINGS SUPPLIED AND THEN ANOTHER $150.00 IF IT WAS OVER 1/2 HOUR. WELL THEY WERE ONLY IN MY HOME AND COMPLETED THE JOB IN 1/2 HOUR THEY CHARGED $247.00 AND CHANGE THE EXPLANATION NEW TO US , THEY CHARGE FROM THE TIME THEY LEAVE THEIR SHOP OR PREVIOUS LOCATION, THEY CHARGE FOR TRAVEL TIME TO YOUR HOME~ THE LAST TIME I USED THEM THERE WAS NO SUCH CHARGE THE GENTLEMAN CHARGED FROM THE TIME HE WALKED THRU OUR FRONT DOOR.~~ SOMETHING HAS CHANGED AT GENEVIE PLUMBING, I CALLED TO INQUIRE AND THE GIRL WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE COULD NOT GIVE ME AN EXPLANATION WITHOUT PUTTING ME ON HOLD, WHEN SHE RETURNED SHE STUTTERED AND USED THE EXCUSE SHE WAS NEW THERE ONLY WORKED THERE A WEEK SAID OH YES WE CHARGE TRAVEL TIME I ASKED SINCE WHEN AND AGAIN SHE PUT ME ON HOLD ~~ SOMEHOW CHARGING TRAVEL TIME WHEN WERE LOCAL~ GENEVIE I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU CHANGED BUT TO BE DOING THIS TO THE FOLKS WHO ESTABLISHED YOUR BUSINESS AND NOW YOUR GOING TO CHARGE TRAVEL FEES~~SHAME ON YOU !

Excellent service. I managed to secure an appointment a day or two after my initial call. I overpaid for the disposal unit (I priced it at Home Depot later that week for $100), but they saved me the trip.

They did come out to the house, and we did use them. They were alright. They were about five hours out the time frame that they were supposed to be here, which did not sit well with me. We didn't have a choice at that point. It was all acceptable. The only problem I had was the fact that they were real late.

It is working well. They did have to come back to adjust it, but they came back the same day that I called. It only took a few minutes to fix it, and have not had problems since. It is a family business, and is local. They installed a garbage disposal for me, and fixed some fixtures. They also installed some shower heads for me, and put a ring around my toilet. They tell you the cost of what you are going to have to pay ahead of time. You do have to pay a service charge fee for them to come though.

I was so glad to have same day service to repair my clogged kitchen sink/ garbage disposal even on a snow day that had schools and the federal government shut down. I will definitely use this company again.

We returned home after work to water rushing down our driveway from under the garage door. It appeared that water was coming from a burst pipe in one of the walls adjacent to the garage. We turned off the water to the house and called Genevie Plumbing. They came out the very next morning, isolated the problem (a burst spigot pipe that we hadn't winterized), removed the cracked section and terminated the end because the pipe was frozen. We waited until later in the spring to re-connect the pipe to the exterior spigot. It was a good lesson in why you should ALWAYS turn off the water to the exterior spigots every winter and let the remaining water drain out so that the pipes don't burst!
The price was a bit high; but it was an emegency and they were very quick to respond and were professional. The plumber had just come from another job where he had worked late in the night on a house that had flooded.
We would consider them again due to their professionalism and quality of work; but would quote out other plumbers if it wasn't an emergency situation.
