missed several items including a hazard that could have caused a major fire. Would have asked the seller to repair if they had caught it. Pictures they took showed that missed it. Offered nothing.

Ivo Alviani is wonderful. He saw everything and told us about it verbally and in writing.

Poorly. The inspector missed obvious signs of termite damage near the window. When contacted, he owner of the company indicated that he did not think the problem was serious despite the fact that 4 other termite companies indicated that the problem was serious and recommended immediate treatment. I would strongly recommend that any customer not work with this company and review their better business bureau (BBB) rating which is an and quot;Fand quot;

It went fantastic! They were able to fit us in last minute, since our offer was accepted the day before we were supposed to leave the state at the end of our house hunting trip. Our fears over what we thought might be cockroaches were laid to rest (just plain beetles), and he noticed little things we missed like the stove having one totally broken burner! He also took the time to explain what we should be doing for maintenance on systems that were unfamiliar to us. Very good inspection and service!

First, this company, especially my inspector Tom Perkins, was GREAT! The day of my inspection was actually the last day, per my contract, that I had to get the inspection done and the complete report submitted to the seller's agent. Not only did Tom fit me in an hour earlier than scheduled, he also got the full report, including pictures and detailed info, within 2 hours of completing the services. He was punctual, and due to my inexperience with home ownership, appliances, roofing, yards, etc., he was very informative in explaining the process. He asked me a few questions in regard to my family and experience with taking care of a home, which I belive gave him a better understanding of my bakground and allowed him to brake the information down to my understanding. Tom has a great sense of humor, and seemed very experienced in his job. He picked on several things I hadn't even noticed and I walked away feeling well informed and satisfied. He even took some measurements for me and showed me how to use and clean some of the appliances I was unfamiliar with.

At the end, I was provided with a binder from the company that includes a DVD and literature on how to care for your home and make minor repairs without having to call in an outside company. I highly recommend AmeriSpec.
