ADVANCED AUTOMOTIVE CTR

I had been looking for a machine shop for about a week. I had changed my exhaust manifold but it was still leaking. I stopped by Advanced Automotive to ask if they could plain my manifold. The man informed me that they could not but I could bring it in and he would check to see if it was indeed warped. I returned about an hour later with the manifold. He did indeed check it for me. He found that it was off by 3000th's of an inch in one spot and 6000th's of an inch in another. He informed me that I may be able to install a performance gasket as the one that came with the manifold was of lower quality. He checked to see if he had one which he did. He also told me how to check my head and to use a knife sharping stone to clean the head before installing the manifold. He did not charge me to look at the manifold and was very helpful in letting me know who may be able to help. I tried what he told me to do and installed the gaskets he sold to me. It worked and I will be using him if I ever need a machine shop in the future.
