A WHISCO WORLDWIDE MOVING AND STORAGE

This was an awful move. First: the communication. Even though my shipment was past the required delivery date, I got nothing from A Whisco. I had to call multiple times, and they wouldn't call with information even when they said they would. I honestly got the feeling that they didn't care how late the shipment was, nor whether it was delivered at all.
Second: the move. During the move the two movers damaged the interior of my house. After pressuring me not to report the damage, they left abruptly. I was told someone would be out to repair. After a month of phone calls, someone finally came out and was unable to repair the damage. I filed a claim with the company based on the estimated repair. Two months later, I've heard nothing, though they reported to the monitoring office that they set me a check for less than 20% of the estimated repair. Over 2 weeks after the check was "dated", still nothing. They've still never replied directly to me, and don't respond to voicemail.
Stay away from this company!

The personnel were very professional and broke down/set up of furniture went very well. We were surprised that it required a two day move due to driver limitations.

This company was HORRIBLE.  Movers came from Mon - Wed.  After over 25 years in the military and muliple PCS moves, we know what 'right looks like'.  We had the move in stages from 3 companies.  One company came to move items to storage - Fabulous!  The next company came to move items that would be shipped by Air - Flawless and Efficient.  Then A-Whisco came to pack the remaining items to be shipped by Sea.  The employee's were VERY unprofessional.  DAY ONE: They argued amongst themselves, blaming each other for everything.  Seemed exasperated that they actually had alot of packing to do!  One guy decides to take a break and I find him sitting in my recliner with my remote control in hand watching T.V.!  When he sees me, he looks and just turns back to continue watching TV! Total disrespect and disregard.  Trash was left in the yard, lights on and doors unlocked when they left - house in total disorder.  DAY TWO: Continued arguing and blaming, incomplete packing, in and out of my refrigerator!! constant complaining of heat so they may need to stop working.  Again, house left in disarray and trash in yard.  DAY THREE: Final Straw.  My mother calls to tell me she can't handle overseeing them anymore (I tried to work half day), I come home and one guy is standing by his truck doing nothing.  Front Door is wide open and I walk in and see some guy helping himself to one of my bottled waters which are now half gone (I had just bought a 24 pack!!).  They were again in and out of the refrigerator.  I go upstairs and ask if they man upstairs plans to pack left behind TV cables and he says..."if you want"..!!!  I am floored!!!  I called the Govt Transportation office and then the on-site supervisor, John J., (A Whisco employee) comes in to argue with me about my complaint!! I told him to leave my house.  I called the company directly and have Robert Jones (A Whisco employee) argue with me even further and try to TELL me what happened when he was NOT even at my house!!! 
As a military servicemember AND a Government Contracting Officer - I will NEVER do business with Worldwide Moving Systems or A-Whisco again and will ensure this company stays on my radar in the future!  Good Job LOSING business in this economy when so many people out there actually NEED work!!

A WHISCO USED QUALITY PERSONNEL, AND DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB OF MOVING OUR HOUSEHOLD ITEMS AND FURNITURE. THEY WERE CAREFUL, POLITE AND EFFICIENT. THEY ALSO WERE VERY PROMPT WHICH WAS NOT THE CASE WITH OTHER MOVING COMPANIES WE HAD USED IN THE PAST.
