Very difficult to get a hold of business proprietor. Final work took longer to complete because of scheduling problems based on difficulty in reaching owner. Work was not done by proprietor himself but by someone he dropped off and picked up. Cannot recommend this business based on my experience.

He was not very good at calling my back. but he did call back and came right away and fix the work on the spot.  He even did somethings that i did not ask him to do.

Everything went very well. They were very professional, and did a beautiful job.

I had the handyman from Hell and John rescued me. He is very clean-cut and he is very honest. When he had to go buy things to do the job, he bought them and charged me later rather than asking me to front the money before he started the job. He was very conscientious about the work that he did and he made sure that we were on the same page about everything that needed to be done.

The finished roof did not pass inspection and Mr. Couls is aware of this ( beam heads to be doubled and supported to footings). The pad is not finished. While putting up the roof they ripped a hole in the siding. Mr Couls does not respond to my phone calls. I had a builder look at the roof and he said the only way to correct this is to take it down and start over. He said not to take his word for it and have other contractors look at it which I intend to do. As for the top and bond it was a quick fix for some crumbling spots on the steps and I don't know how it will hold up. Mr. Couls had done some work for me in the spring. Pressure cleaned and painted the deck, cleaned out gutters, and replaced a closet door. All of that went well (except I have asked him several times to put the knob back on the closet door and he still hasn't done that). I was comfortable with Mr. Couls and he assured me that they do decks and roofs over them all the time.
