I have noticed my electric bill is lower in both the summer and winter and the house is warner in the winter and stays cool in the summer.  There are no water leaks on the inside of the house and the windows look good - much better that the old windows I had.  I am used to having "storm" windows in a house both as an adult and childhood memories. With the new windows, water gets on the window seal,, has condensation and looks dirty between the inner glass and the screen and there is no way to exchange the screen with another glass.  Other than that I have not had a problem with the windows and the price was lower than competitors.

****I can't give an accurate price b/c the windows were purchased along with several other products and services of a contractor who sub'd the windows out to US Vinyl.***** The projects have not yet been completed for a final itemized bill.
In total I had 20 double hung energy efficient, tilt out, vinyl, low-E windows w/full screens installed in my house, plus I had 2 additional large casement windows deliveried for another project. The crew had to be 3 of the most efficient and nicest tradesmen I have ever met. I hover and I ask questions when its my money paying for something and these men not only put up with my constant presence, they engaged in conversation with me, answered all of my questions, and showed me the correct way to remove and replace the screens if it ever became necessary. One was even nice enough to consider my electirc bill and advised me to turn the A/C off so I wouldn't be wasting it while they worked.
They worked like a well oiled machine with each man knowing exactly what his task was, and they ENJOYED working with each other. I was stunned to watch as the old windows came out one by one, the old openings were measured for any further adjustment to the wood framing, openings were cleaned of all debris and new vinyl frames went in like beads on a string, one right after the other. They arrived within their stated time frame and in less than 6 hours, including a break for lunch, not only were the windows in but you never would have known they had been there. They cleaned up like it was their own home and took the debris with them.
I am beyond happy with the people who installed the windows as well as the windows. I would have Tony's crew back to work on my home any time and I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. I would like to thank Mr. Gary Saks from US Vinyl for dispatching that particular crew out to my home.
I will note the casements that were delivered did not meet my standards for the additional project and US Vinyl is being consulted by the contractor for an alternate style of window. I do not have an resolution to that problem yet but if US Vinyl is as good with the new specs as they were with the 20 other windows then I am sure I will not be disappointed and I'll be sure to post comments if I am.

My first experience was excellent. Paul came to measure my window and find out what I wanted to replace it with, but the thing I was most impressed by during this job was the installation. Taking out the old window proved to be a very difficult job (see pictures). But the new window looks fantastic and is exactly what I wanted. I was so happy with the service, the quality, and the installation of the window that I had no hesitation calling US Vinyl back to replace my French doors. The doors turned out to be an and quot;odd sizeand quot; and had to be special ordered. They were hand-made by the Amish, who used only US made products (down to the nuts and bolts). The installation went a lot smoother than the window, and in no time at all, I had beautiful new doors. When I'm ready to replace any more windows or any of my other two exterior doors, US Vinyl will be the only phone call I make.

THEY ARE A SMALL COMPANY BUT THEY GIVE YOU BIG SERVICE. EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM IS FANTASTIC, THE WORK, THE STAFF, EVERYTHING. WE HAD A SMALL PROBLEM THAT DEVELOPED A FEW MONTHS AFTER THE INSTALL AND THEY CAME OUT AND FIXED IT AND WERE VERY CORDIAL AND POLITE.
