My thirty year old furnace recently started failing to keep
my three story home adequately cooled. In preparation for replacing the furnace,
I interviewed four companies. Sears Heating and Cooling's estimate for a replacement
furnace exceeded other estimates by three thousand dollars. Cyprus Air Heating
and Cooling of Alexandria VA was arguably
the worst business [ price, presentation, professionalism ] that I have ever encountered. One company, L.S. Pinkney
exceeded all other companies by miles.
Mr. Pinkney's son and an associate arrived on time and made
an extremely professional impression. They inspected my furnace and educated me
regarding the furnace's proper use and maintenance. The younger Mr. Pinkney discouraged
replacing the furnace, which he concluded could effectively continue to heat/cool
my home. When my furnace is ultimately in need of replacement, I shall make one
phone call to L.S. Pinkney
