"Sanjeev you are welcome to your opinion and we welcome it but the facts (consumer name withheld per their request) are contrary to what you wrote above. The diagnosis was 20-30 Minutes. The Repair took time. The workmanship of the installation of your unit was not good. Basic installation practices were ignored. You said that the unit was installed 3-4 years prior and you paid for a system that was not properly installed to begin with. The the valve was not the only issue and the unit never worked properly. Instead the unit ran improperly for an undetermined amount of time from the time it was installed due to the valve. You can't say that the flow is good or bad if you don't have any gauges in the water piping to to measure flow to begin with. If your flow was good we would not have been there and the unit would have been running. You cannot determine flow without any means to measure flow. There could have been blocked or a valve could be bad. Secondly we had to try verify flow with the engineer to see if others in the building were having issues and verify the pumps were running. 3rd we had to install gauges to verify flow and we discovered the pressure to be the issue. You indicated that you were having problems with the previous contractor and we corrected the problems. You were able to make your settlement for the sale of the property in time and the issue was resolved. This was an ongoing problem and we fixed it the first time. We told you our rate before we came out there and you accepted. The building engineer did not find the problem nor fix it and made an accusation that there was flow like you said and above we proved that there was not any flow. So the Engineers assessment was also incorrect. If it was a 30 minute repair why didn't they do it. It was a combination valve /flow meter which had no indication of its position on the outside so it had to be removed to see if it was open or not. It was closed. If there was a proper installation and gauges were already installed like they should have been we could have determined a flow or no flow situation and rectified it immediately but that was not the case. You do not mention the installing Contractor that did the improper installation and could not rectify the problem. We also had to make sure that we had positive shut off the water to the apartment because there was not a gauge in the supply and return line and could not tell if the valves were holding. If we did not we could have flooded the building. We have to alter the piping to install the gauge. Also the the fan speed was wrong and low on Refrigerant and we had to run the unit in Both heating and cooling mode to make sure that everything was correct. So how do you come up with the idea that the valve was the only issue. You were shown every issue that we addressed. We followed up with you after the sale to make sure that everything was running ok and you said yes and asked if we serviced the your area and could we service your p"
"The above call Cirilo is referring to was done on Saturday of this past Memorial Day Weekend and was billed at a Holiday Rate. The rate was given before we dispatched and the total bill for the repair on a Holiday Weekend was $178.90. We are confident that we are comparable with what others are charging for repair on a Holiday Weekend and any other day."
"Shafton S was told of our Labor Rate when he placed the Service Call and he Accepted. We do not dispatch without the customer being told of our rates. When we made the diagnosis of the Motor Failure and the missing filter we called Shafton S and told him that The Motor was an ECM Motor and the motor alone was going to cost $832.00 and a filter was going to cost $25.00 and we were going to need his approval and a credit card before going forward with any repair. He approved. We made the repair and he asked about the Final Bill and we told him that it was $1128.00 which included the approved labor and materials."
