I, the seller, watched while the inspector focused on old evidence of termites from at least five years ago, damage which I had repaired before I moved in. I told him that but he said he could not tell if it was old or current, so he wrote a report saying there was an infestation and it would cost me $375 to treat for termites. I called another company recommended by Angie's List (Ward's) and after inspection it confirmed that the evidence was of a past infestation and there is no current concern.
