BTS Builders did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again. Their price was reasonable, excellent. I was very pleased. They are outstanding. I would absolutely use them again.

I contacted BTS Builders, LLC for an estimate to create a great room for my home.  Having experienced bad contractors in the past, I was a bit apprehensive about starting this project but after reading BTS' reviews on Angie's List and the BBB, I felt comfortable.
I scheduled an appointment to meet Mr. Willie Lee, the owner of BTS, shortly before Thanksgiving.  Mr. Lee was very professional, showed up ahead of time for our appointment and presented me with his business card (which included his contractor license # for Maryland). His company's name and logo were on his business shirt and jacket which made me feel comfortable.
I walked Mr. Lee around and told him what I wanted. He asked questions and took notes, pictures and measurements. It was obvious that he knew a lot about home construction. He took his time to explain things and answered a lot of my questions.  At my age, I don't grasp things as easily as I used to but Mr. Lee was patient and wanted me to understand.  Following our appointment, he emailed me an estimate within my budget and began working right before Thanksgiving. The project was to end before Christmas.
Throughout the 3 1/2-week project, Mr. Lee and his crew showed up on time daily and were professional.  Every week, Mr. Lee reviewed the contract and timeline with me. Even when I changed my mind on a few things (e.g. paint color, fixtures, etc), Mr. Lee prepared Change Orders to make sure we were both clear on things.  He advised me on products and even repaired small things around my house (i.e., replaced broken mailbox, porch lights, etc) that weren't included in the contract.  He even fixed electrical and other construction work that a previous contractor had left undone. He did all of this without asking for additional pay.
Mr. Lee completed the project ahead of schedule, even working weekends to make sure everything was done professionally.  He supervised his team well and you could tell they respected him.  Everyday they left the space clean, clear and free of debris and tools.
My family and friends haven't stopped complimenting me on my new space!  I really appreciate Mr. Lee's hard work and would have BTS Builders come back to my home for a renovation project any time.  I'm truly grateful.

BTS gave us an estimate the day after we called and was ready to begin work a few days later.  Once the job was started they stayed with the job until completion.  Very good work and very responsive.

I was extremely pleased with BTS Builders LLC.  Willie Lee and his crew were always very professional.  The project was completed on time and for the amount we agreed upon. The quality of workmanship was first-rate and the attention to detail was nothing short of amazing! 

Even months after the project was complete, I continued to receive emails from Mr. Lee to make sure I was happy with the results. I couldn't be more satisfied with my additions and would be happy to work with BTS again.

Overall, very satisfied!    Mr. Lee showed up on time, was easy to work with, and the end product we are all happy with!  
We will be calling him again for the next job!

Initial Contact: Great, arrived earlier than the appointment time.
Estimate from visually looking at the property was a little high; but advised it could be less once he calculates the actual square footage of the work area.  Note: his visual estimate wasn't as high as the majority of the written estimates we received.
Did measurements and took pictures of the damage areas and other areas we wanted to have work done.
Final estimate was much cheaper than the initial verbal estimate.
Provided an outline of how the process was to take place.
Explained in detail if we had any question regarding the time line, materiels used, change orders, etc, etc.
Started the project on time and took very good precautions on not damaging other areas of the home.
Kept very good communication during the project and alerted us when something was discovered during the project.
Advised us on different ways to potentially save money and recommended places to look for items needed.
Scheduled meetings at various stages in the process for status updates and for our review on progress with the project.
Provided a walk through date for final inspection and punch list check off. ( actually finished earlier than scheduled )
Each item on the completion list was done to our satisfaction.
When the project was completed, there weren't any signs of a construction zone or area. ( no visible debris left behind )

As  stated above Mr. Willie Lee owner of Building Trade Specialist aka BTS was hired in September of 2010 to build and complete an additional suite of rooms which included a kitchen, bedroom,relocation of our deck, new garage, and a shed. The new addition to my home was for my mother to come and live with me.  She passed away in her sleep in December 2010. She paid Mr. Lee his final payment two weeks before her passing.  After she passed Mr. Lee's visits to the work site became sparse and things started to be done in a rather shabby way.  Mr. Lee promised to correct everything and we have had several conversations with him but nothing has been completed to our satisfaction. 
 My Uncle (my mother's brother has come to stay with me) he is handicapped and uses a wheelchair and crutches to get around..  When my uncle and my husband addressed him about the list of things needed to be fixed it he stated he was aware  and he did come out several times but did nothing to date.   I have contacted the Home Improvement Commission and now have an investigator looking into this matter before I file a civil suit against this company.

He was very professional, when you call him he was always on time and prompt, also did a great job cleaning up after the work. Additionaly he stayed on site and let me inspect his work the make sure it was up to par and then even a few days later he called back to make sure we were still satisfied.

My fiance and I were frantically looking for a quality builder to add onto our home. We were having a new baby soon and we needed it completed in time for her arrival. I did my online research and found an online website, which recommends top-rated contractors in your area. We met with three contractors and knew right away that we wanted to hire Building Trades Specialists (BTS). Willie Lee (owner) was fair in the pricing and knew exactly what we wanted. From the architect that drew up our floor plans to the builders, we received great customer service. Not only was the finished product amazing but it was also right on schedule for our new baby girl. When involved in such an important project like home renovation, I always do my research and try my best to find trustworthy people/companies and those that come highly recommended...and I certainly recommend BTS!

I used BTS Building Trade Specialists for a addition and remodel on my house. I was rather worried at first, because I'd heard so many horror stories from my friends, regarding contractors and home improvement jobs. Well, the owner Willy Lee of BTS, put all of that to rest. He was great! On time, fair price and kept me informed every step of the way. I highly recommend him and I will definitely use him again. The wife is happy!!

BTS had great experience. BTS had the best price. BTS had clean work. Came in right on budget I'm glad we hired them.
