Margaret's Beauty Landscape

I called to have them shovel our snow while we were away during a heavy snowstorm.  I also asked them to clear off my car.   When we returned, our front sidewalk and walkway to the front of our house were completely unshoveled.  They had cleared the driveway, done a barely adequate job of clearing the car, and cleared the steps and door area of the deck.   We ended up having to finish the job we wanted them to do.  It was a communications issue:  They made an assumption that because our neighbor just wanted their driveway done, that we did too.   To be fair, they tried to call when they were actually doing the job,but we were out of cell phone range when they called. Had they thought to ask for details earlier,  and left a voice message, it would probably have gotten resolved.   THAT experience was not good.
They do, however do our lawn in the summer and come regularly and do a good job for a very fair price.   I also had them do some mulching, but felt that it was a lot of money given that the mulch was applied in a too-thin layer.  
I will probably have them continue to do the lawn.  If I have them do other work, I would want to be very clear what I wanted done, and how it was to be done.   Communication seems to be the biggest problem.
