However, upon checking previous emails, I personally explained potential added cleanup costs along with providing a detailed cleanup proposal prior to your selection of our company for the tank removal process. The total cost for the cleanup work was within the estimate range of potential costs provided preliminarily. Although reimbursement turnaround is currently lengthy, I have no reports of someone not receiving reimbursement from Maryland when the program has been in effect in my many years with assisting clients with applying for the refund. Status of reimbursement applications can be checked by calling MDE at 410-537-3676. The program is a huge benefit to Maryland homeowners especially with unforeseen issues that underground oil tanks can cause. Equipment mobilization time is explained in our contract terms and conditions and is a standard charge in the industry. Equipment is transported in the same trailers used to transport soils to the disposal facility. If the trailer is full with spoiled soils, we cannot transport the equipment during the same trip. Off-site activities are verified with time sheets and vendor receipts. Our best effort is made to ensure all jobs go smoothly, but accommodations are made if that isn't quite possible.
