USHA SALON

I used to get it done by Pinal and she was excellent. She knew her job and I was usually in and out in 10 minutes.

I love USHA's salon. I get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded probably once a month (I probably should go more often). Usha the owner is by far the best I think but that may be do to her years of experience. I also really like the last tech I had, I think her name was Trie. She was very thorough, got every hair out of place and gives a good facial massage after the threading process. The only thing I would say she could improve is that she could use a little more pressure when massaging.

The staff were very polite, professional and extremely friendly. I did not have to wait at all before I was taken back for my eyebrows to be done. The salon was clean and I felt comfortable there. The only complaint was with the gel manicure. The manicurist kept saying that the bottle was too empty and she seemed to try to "stretch" what she had in the bottle. My nails were not fully covered in polish.

Everytime I've been to this salon, it has been clean and with a nice cheery atmosphere- it is by no means a bland place.
I prefer Usha herself whenever possible, but I have had other women do my brows and they were all very good as well.

They don't take appointments. You go in and put your name on the list, and before I even sat down to read a magazine, they called my name. They have you hold your skin in a way that it's taut for the eyebrow threading. It goes very quickly and only hurts a little bit. The result is very precise-I was amazed. They do upper lip threading too, but I thought I'd save that for another day.

I go there about every two weeks and receive prompt excellent service. I usually get immediate service. The longest I've had to wait is 5 min. Threading, I believe, is an old Persian method of removing hair, much quicker and better the waxing, etc. It's simply done with cotton thread!
