Turlington Heating & A/C

We have had problems with a leaking boiler. Our first experience with Turlington was positive. They came quickly and seemed to fix the issue. A few weeks later a leak developed in a different area. It took multiple phone calls and repeated no-shows over several weeks to finally get them to come. A month or so after this second repair the boiler began to leak from the same joint that they had repaired. Once again I made numerous phone calls and was promised they would return multiple times. They never showed up and never called to tell me they weren't coming. After much aggravation and the loss of $300, I called another plumber. Extremely unreliable and dishonest. They obviously do not stand behind their work.

Came home from work on one of the hottest day of the summer to a not functioning AC unit!! Called Turlington, someone came out within the hour. Repaired it in less time than it took for him to arrive at my house. Super nice and explained everything that was wrong and what was done to repair it. Very reasonable price too!!

Turlington had come highly recommended to us and they didn't disappoint. The guys were punctual, professional and knowledgable. The price was good and they appeared straight forward and honest in their assessment of the system. We would definitely use them again.

When we were purchasing our house, the air conditioner was stolen off of
the side. Turlington came out and did an estimate on a replacement unit
when we didn't even own it yet, with no assurance it would turn into a
job. They were very professional and friendly. When we finally did
close, they came and did the job in a timely fashion. William Turlington
is a very friendly guy, very personable. He worked with our lender who
was providing the credit for the stolen unit, and was very accommodating
and understanding of our situation. I would highly recommend them to
anyone, and have already given their name to friends.

Several other service providers had provided different and far more costly diagnoses of the problem, diagnoses that would have involved the expensive replacement of portions of our central air conditioning system. Turlington arrived promptly and at the promised time, accurately diagnosed the problem in a manner that avoided the need for costly equipment replacement, gave us a fair and reasonable price, and in all respects operated in a commendable and professional manner.

Very responsive with a reasonable price

Wonderful. They have a very personal touch. They were recommended to us by friends before we joined Angie's list. My impression is that they are honest people. We had special circumstances two of the times (a baby in the house, pregnant) and both times they prioritized us and we were the first to get service. The third time, it wasn't urgent for us, and they came a few days later. I was ok with that because I knew that they do their best to take care of those who need it most first.

He explained in detail how old the unit was, the pros and cons of replacing the system which was over 25 years old, the different manufacturers, the minimum and maximum specifications of a system that would be appropriate for my home. So the actual work took about 30 minutes but he gave me an additional 30-40 minutes of his time for this in depth tutorial.

We had a prior experience with them where we had no heat and a baby at home and they came immediately and put our job ahead of others. We appreciated that they priorize in that way. This time, once we had the estimate, we had to do a lot of back and forth calling to set up the work date, but we knew that it was because they give priority to people with a special need, and our work was not an emergency, so we were ok with that. Once the appointment was made, they did the work promptly and the quality was good.

Turlington was knowledgeable, clean, courteous and completed the job. It was an extremely hot summer so a warranty issue took additional time to diagnose. Turlington was helpful.
