We hired Total Craftsman to put on a porch and wheelchair ramp combined. We wanted something not looking like an accessible house . The project turned out perfectly and our homes looks like a different house now . We were so happy with them ( Dec 2022) that we hired them for windows , roofing and new siding too in Spring of 2023 ! Our home looks fabulous. All the work was done timely and professionally and clean up was excellent as well. John did much of the work and oversaw all the sub contractors as well ! We’d hire them again when needed ! 5 stars for sure

Hired Total Craftsman to create a full bathroom and utility room in my finished basement. John did a great job of managing our project and communicating with us. Finished product was exactly what we wanted. Good work at a good price.

Everything went great. John was the main guy I worked with. Everything they did was perfect.

John was hired as our general contractor. Was in charge of demoing our old house. Running all new utilities from the street to house. Foundation perp. and all the drainage/pumps, concrete floor. Helped set the house and everything that was involved in that. (Lots of work). They did the heating a/c, water heater, all electric hookups, porches, bilco basement doors, tiled bathrooms, graded and seeded the yard, driveway. We spent several months working with John and his people. Nothing but great things to say. They can take care of anything and everything needed.

John was prompt and professional and suggested additional fixes to improve the function of the shower doors. We are pleased with the results. The cost seemed a bit high, but it is worth it overall.

On time and extremely friendly

John and his coworker carefully dismantled our old steps and porch.    They put in place a new footing to support the steps and used the existing footings and landing.  They built the new porch 1 foot wider than the preexisting one and made the new steps with a more gradual incline and 1 foot wider also.  They firmly attached the steps to the house foundation.  The wooden framework was topped with composite decking and railings.  When finished they cleaned up the site .    The new porch and steps look great.

They are outstanding.  They are run by John Parrott and his sister Patsy Pharr.  I have used them for many years and have always had outstanding experiences.  Long before we moved to our current house, we lived in a neighborhood where everyone had leaky roofs.  John grew up in the neighborhood and figured out the problems with the roofs.  Since then he has been outstanding.  We give him the keys to our house when we need work done.  They are highly insured so their customers are completely protected.  John is very intelligent as well.  When you hire a contractor more than once to do different jobs, that alone says a lot about the company.  We are and have always been pleased with their work.
