Sarandos replaced the break switch for $58. Not Sarandos' fault, but It caused the cruise control to go out. I stopped by to see if they could fix it and Scott, the owner, literally spent about 90 minutes with me and discovered that Honda should have seen that this part was a recall, and should have offered to replace and install it for free. Scott stood nothing to gain, yet spent his time, and gave me all the info I needed to go back to Honda and get this resolved, and the money I paid to Sarandos reimbursed. This would only benefit me, not Sarandos, yet he spend a lot of time with me, to help me. That is the kind of car repair place with whom I want to build a long term relationship! In addition, before this event came to light, they charged me less than they had quoted on the original work. Thank you Sarandos!

We first found Sarandos when my Grandmother used them. She has been a regular customer. Then my parents started using him. Eventually I needed someone to take a dent out of my bumper. They did a good job and it was a good experience. So when I needed a new alternator I did not hesitate to come back. Scott (the owner) was very nice and even stayed late to do my car. He explained my options and I picked the one with the lifetime warranty. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I've been taking vehicles to Sarandos for years, since a good friend recommended them to me.  Every single time they have taken exceptionally good care of me, and always take the time to explain exactly what they are doing, including breaking down services by those which must be done immediately, and those which can wait.  Scott, the owner,  always takes the time to speak with me about the service his shop is providing, and makes sure that I understand everything before proceeding. They have a shuttle to take me wherever after dropping off, and they pick me up promptly when finished, or when I finish work. I never go any where else any more, ever.

Scott Scrandos fixed the problem! He cares about the vehiclle and takes the time to explain whats going on with the vehicle.
He looks for the best price for parts and does not do unnecessary work. The price is much better than dealer! 
But he did have the vehicle a long time (weeks). I didn't press him because I have a spare vehicle to use.

Staff and mechanics were courteous and helpful. Explained all major issues and gave some helpful hints for handling registration and emissions inspection. Work was done quickly and well. Pricing was made clear and no pressure to do any work that I didn't want. Overall great experience.

I had purchased a bulb from an auto supply store that I brought with me to the service station.  When the mechanic tried to install the bulb they found it was faulty.  Apparently the package had been opened and resealed before I bought it.  The bulb had been damaged and resold.  Not only didn't the bulb work but it shorted out the other headlight bulbs.  The service company couldn't have been nicer.  They gave me a ride back to work and kept me informed of their progress.  They had to replace all of the bulbs and reset the car's computer.  I didn't have an appointment because I thought this was a quick job.  They made time for me and repaired all of the problems.  They called during the afternoon to inform me of their progress.  Additionally and most exceptionally, the office manager contacted the auto supply store to inform them of the problem with their faulty bulb and the problems it caused.  They and I were treated rudely by the manager and no offer was made to cover my costs.  The office manager then called the owner of the auto supply chain and informed him of our treatment by his manager.  He agreed to cover all of my costs and apologized for our poor experience with his store.  This was truly above and beyond what was required.  I greatly appreciate the assistance I was given and would highly recommend this auto service company.

Got their name from Angies List and contacted them based on the outstanding reviews.  Set up an appointment for an auto inspection.   I arrived a few minutes late and was concerned that they wouldn't take me or that there would be a significant delay (there were alot of cars parked out front and the bays looked full).
Fortunately that wasn't the case.  They took my car right away and completed the inspection in a timely fashion.   The receptionist was courteous and personable and the technician took time to review the results and let me know what to  keep an eye on in the future.   They are a young team but experienced and hard working.   I am pleased to say they lived up to the the outstanding ratings they had received on Angies List.  Thank you for the reference.  Mike C

My son borrowed my car when moving his things into an apartment getting ready to go back to Towson. He called me late friday afternoon and said he could not get the key out and could not get the car off. I told him to drive it to the nearest cadillac dealership and see what they could do. They said, "can't help you until Monday, but you can drive it back to your place and just unplug the battery".
Luckily he was smart enough to call a friend who said that wouldn't turn the car off and was not safe. So he drove into the first auto repair place he saw in desperation. It was Serandos. He called me so relieved and said they were so nice, and said had he done what the cadillac dealership told him he could have fried the electrically system. Even late on a friday the guys at Serandos said leave it here, we'll get it turned off and call you tomorrow with an estimate, but indicated right away they knew what it was and it was nothing major. They even offered him a ride home. It was not only a great relief for him, but also for me (because I live over an hour away).
Serandos then kept us up to date on the part they needed to get in, and had a small list of little repairs they noticed (which I knew about), and offered to repair them at good prices (I know this because I had estimates before for these small things and hadn't wanted to do them at the time).
Overall I would highly recommend Serandos, as would my son. A great experience .

I had gone to Sarandos for over two years and was therefore surprised by my experience, which involved a fair bit of work I hadn't previously authorized, inflating the bill by about $150. Unfortunately, my displeasure increased tremendously in March of 2009 when my "new brake job" (less than 8,000 miles since the job) turned out to already require new rotors, new calipers, etc. (they had not installed indicator pads which would at least have alerted me to the problem before damaging the rotors). I had the car serviced elsewhere, and I Sarandos twice to speak with a manager about their prior service without any call backs.

Sarando's was professional and courteous. They had a fair price for auto inspections and the work was done on time. They worked with me to re-inspect my car when it didn't pass the first time. There was no fee for the re-inspection; only a visual check was needed. The only blemish was that they didn't call me when the cars were finished; I called them to check the status. However, I consider this to be minor. I would use them again for auto repair or inspection.

Sarando's did the work the same day, and even gave me a ride home and picked me up when the car was ready. They were SO nice, I highly recommend them!
