MEN'S WEARHOUSE

This was the worst experience I have ever had renting a tux. I'd never done business with Men's warehouse before and I won't do it again willingly unless there is another wedding party that chooses to use them. It began with going into the store and trying to get some help. The staff was sitting on their displays at the back of the store chatting. They didn't notice me when I came in so I walked over and said hello and told them I was there for a fitting for a tux. Glazed expressions. "Oh, uh, right, sit over there and mumble mumble." I sat over in their tux area for about ten minutes before I was helped. So this part was fine. She was very pleasant, though not very helpful. Her co-worker; however, decided it was time to try and sell me something while I was sitting there waiting for her to enter in the info. "Would you like to be in our member program? Would you like to try on X,Y,Z? It's on sale you know. You can stock up on ties. There are some blazers that are perfect for you and on sale." No. That's ok, thank you. No. Umm... please stop talking to me. Finally it was all done. He tried to sell me some socks on the way out and I was glad to be done with it. We had these sent to another location, so the next part likely reflects more on the other location and/or wherever they assemble their tuxedos. Every tux was missing something. There were 5 tuxes and each had something wrong, but here are the best two - Groom: suspenders, ascot and vest if I remember correctly since things got a little panicky, and Groomsman 1: no jacket(!!!) and no cuff links. The rest of us were all missing a little something here and there but they were able to fix that at the store. Small stuff like cuff links, ascots and pocket squares. A mess. The best part was when the groom called the afternoon before the wedding when they said everything would be there and it wasn't. He politely let them know that they would be finding a driver to bring them out because there would be no-one to pick everything up. They did oblige so that was very good of them. I respect that. The return was easy, so that's positive.
